Incredible Value!
Purchased end of June and am amazed that it sounds far better than it should at the price. Long time (decades) Gretsch player. Love my Brooklyn kit but for easy in and out smaller Catalina Club has been my go to. The Sonor is every bit the competition if not winner in small category.
Awesome little kit
Great sound out of this kit. OK. It's not maple or birch. But for what it is, it sounds big and full. I probably would have used a 10" Tom instead of an 8" but that's minor.
It goes together easily and fits in my car. I've used it in a studio setting and, with a few small tweaks on the bass drum, we got a great sound.
The pros: packs up small, fits in tight spaces, sounds good, quick set up and tear down.
Cons: bass drum should be 16" and rack tom should be 10". But with some tuning they sound fine.
Overall I would definitely recommend this kit and I have.
