Zoom H4 essential case and accessories

To begin, I purchased the recorder from a local source, and did not grab this kit along with it.
The Kit is well put together, and furnishes several solutions for the H4

- Custom fit case, well padded, good zipper. Check off protecting the recorder.
- The " Dead Cat" windscreen - absolutely essential for recording outside. The XY pair of internal microphones
MUST have this screen in place to have a chance against wind noise.
- Power supply and cord- They are what they are. The H4 literally gobbles down batteries, I moved to an
external high capacity battery and use internal batteries as backup only.
- My purchase " Scratched an itch" I have, and it is a good instrument to learn how to capture noise free audio. - It does demand special care to isolate it from noise. Use of the remote app is essential, as the recorder is
very sensitive to case generated noise, including operating controls.
I am bound for a Sound Devices recorder in the next few months. FUN FUN FUN
