Wanted to Love This Pedal but.....

After a month of use, I originally thought this pedal was very good however, shortly after, the chain clasp that connects to the beater constantly slips bringing the pedal down to the floor. Underneath the shaft are 2 ridged rings that the clasp attaches to. After inspection, these looked fine. No matter how tight i get the clasp, the same thing happens over and over again. Depending on the song, I may play the pedal light or hard to accommodate the dynamics of the tune. Unfortunately, this pedal is not road worthy and I certainly can't recommend it. So disappointed. The playability is awesome and it feels and looks solid. It just isn't reliable which I cannot have. Fortunately, I always carry extra pedals to a gig. In my opinion, there's a flaw in the engineering of this pedal. I'm sticking with my Tama Speed Cobra Pedals. Zero issues 3 years running.
