Each channel sports an independent set of controls to shape your tone, in addition to dedicated bright switches and a saturation-rich “gain” switch on the Ampliphonix Channel. For added depth, you also get a splashy spring reverb circuit and an effects loop. Excellent Amp
The ampliphonix side is well above the classic fender blackface sound, its what I always wanted the fender amps I've owned to sound like. It's clean with some tube breakup if pushed and you use your guitar volume to control that aspect. It is super responsive. The plexi side has some great overdrive and distortion tones. I'm not really running high gain sounds but you can sans chugga chugg tones ( probably can with a pedal to push it harder). The only issue is a boost that does not have a volume pot to set it with. A clean boost can cover that better. The reverb is great. Better than a fender spring box. This is truly a pure and clear amp with added rocking tones. It the best amp I've owned and played.
