Although the apx does fit in it, not very well. you say this case was designed for an apx no way. This case is for a thick body symmetrical shape, neither of which is an apx. Decent quality

This case is perfect for my Yamaha APX 600. It fits like a glove and should protect the instrument when taken out of the house.

Not sure if my case is defective but the neck isn't completely centered. So unless I wiggle the guitar in the case properly, the pegs are hitting the sides of the case. Could be a better fit.

I was so enamored with my Yamaha CG172SF Classical guitar, I decided to buy this case to protect it. This is a very nice case and the CG172SF fits in it perfectly.

I got an apx600m for my first guitar and this was the case the manufacturer said was designed for my guitar. The interior shape is not 100% exact for my specific model (mines cutaway) but it does fit very snug and secure with a nice storage space under the neck. The only thing is one of the first times I put my guitar in this case I did so in a manner in which the pickup caught the fabric and pulled it off of the case a bit; the fabric isn't torn or anything just bunched a little in that spot. I just need to make sure I put the bottom in first and then slide the rest of the body down into place. Otherwise super happy with the quality, look, feel, fit and security. Comfortable to hold and lots of secure ways to stand the case either flat on its back, on its side, or even on its heel, and the locking mechanisms all work very well. The shipping and handling through Sweetwater was excellent and the customer support is S tier, not to mention the price was cheaper through Sweetwater than anywhere else (even through manufacturer). I'm not sure how this stacks up against its competitors and I'm new to guitar ownership in general but for me this case has perfectly met my expectations and I'm very satisfied with my purchase and my purchasing experience through Sweetwater.

I was looking for a case for my Alvarez MPA66 12 fret parlor guitar and the dimensions on this case looked to be just right. It has less foam cushioning than my Gator lightweight polyfoam case I have for a dreadnaught but this case fits perfectly snug and seems to be built quite well. I am glad it fits and always confident in Sweetwater that my purchase will arrive packaged well. I definitely recommend this case to anyone having an Alvarez parlor or similarly sized guitar.

I bought this case for my Yamaha NXT-1 that I ordered at the same time. Sweetwater said it was a certified fit for this guitar, so I ordered it since the guitar didn't come with a case.

The case fits for sure, but it's a tight fit around the lower bout and doesn't even touch the upper cut away bout. It does touch the upper front bout though, and even has a gap in the padding for the electronics control panel.

The neck support fits well and the guitar doesn't move around in the case at all.

The case is very well made with great hinges and latches and build quality is top notch.

I gave it four stars because it's not a "perfect" fit, but I would buy it again for this guitar.

I bought this case for my Yamaha APX600 and was not disappointed. It's very sturdy and seems to be made from quality materials and with care. The latches seem strong and the inside is well padded and form fitted to the guitar. I will mainly use this to store my guitar when I'm not playing it and maintain it's proper humidity. Time will tell, but so far I'm pleased with it.

Schlepping guitars to and from church every Sunday, I prefer hard cases to gig bags. With the acquisition of a Cordoba C5-CE, I was looking for a hard case that would provide good protection for this gem. The Yamaha AG2-HC case is a near perfect fit. The only caution area is that the Fishman controls protrude into the padding. Simply pushing the guitar into, or pulling the guitar from the case might break a control. I prevent this by placing the bass side of the guitar into the case first, then rotate the treble side in. To remove the guitar, just do the reverse. Good construction and quality hardware make for a great case!

Nice case for my new Yamaha 12-string. Not heavy like 'some' guitar brand cases. Sometimes takes a little adjustment to get all of the latches locked, but that is pretty normal, and might loosen up wit use. This was my first order from Sweetwater, and they did great! Plenty of status updates, and delivery was a day EARLY as well.

Received the case today. 4-17-2020. This is a really nice case for the purchase price. My Epiphone Dreadnaught fits really snug inside it but I like that. The guitar is better protected in a tight-fitting case.

AG2-HC case works great for the Yamaha APX-600. Nice and soft, snug and seems very durable.

Better than I thought it was going to be! Looks better than in pictures! Very solid, Hinges and latches are tight and work great! All in gold tones even has the lock case for security! Stitching all around sewn in well! Most importantly is the fit which as described a snug fit until broken in which isn't too snug! Fits perfectly! Sweetwater came through again! Delivery was fast!
