Ibanez AEG50N Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Black High Gloss Reviews
Always committed to designing instruments with the player in mind, the Ibanez AEG200 represents a continuation of the popular AEG series. With a reduced-depth body, this slimmer acoustic-electric is light and easy to play. The AEG50 features a spruce top with sapele back and sides — a tonewood pairing that delivers a sweet, rounded tone with a prominent low end. A nyatoh neck with walnut fingerboard offers stellar playability and response. Meanwhile, an Ibanez T-Bar II undersaddle and AEQ-TTS preamp pump out beautifully articulate amplified tone. The AEG50 also features a smooth, deep cutaway that gives you access to those higher notes up the neck.

Just what i needed....
Been looking for an affordable yet playable Nylon/Classical guitar for quite some time. This instrument fills the bill! although not as loud acoustically because of the shallow body, it is still quite pleasant unplugged. I will most likely use some amplification even in small settings, just to tailor to my liking. Well built as all Ibanez I've encountered, awesome for the price!
Beginner guitar
This guitar is perfect for me as I am just learning to play. Love the way it looks, feels and sounds. Shipping was quick and the guitar was packed perfectly.
Ibanez AEG50N acoustic electric
For the price this is a great nylon string acoustic guitar . Sounds great
Great gift as a quality option
I've purchased through Sweetwater for a good while now and don't see any reason to ever stop! That being said, I've always received every order no more than 48 hours after purchase, often times the next day, this is meant as a gift for my wife in hopes she finds as much joy. The only negative i have is upon opening it to inspect, the #5 string had popped and almost completely unwound! I can't imagine they'd allow it to leave in such a way so quiet possibly, the FedEx team was in a hurry while loading/unloading. Rather then taint her affinity for Ibanez acoustics, I went out Xmas eve and bought a nice new set of black D'Addario nylons! Crisis averted and gift well received!
Great playability but doesn't project
I bought this and a Cordoba Fusion 5 at the same time. As far as the feel of the neck and the action they are very close. Unplugged the sound is vastly different. The Cordoba is beautiful and resonant with good projection. The Ibanez is not. Plugged into an amp the Ibanez is fine. I do love Ibanez overall as this is my third. I also have a Yamaha 372 which has the best sound of the three. I have also owned a Cordoba C5 and a Washburn C5CE as well. In order as far as overall the Yamaha 372 sounds the best with the Cordoba Fusion 5 a close second. Adding in the cutout and the electronics and the Fusion is my go to nylon guitar.
Horrible quality control
This guitar is terribly overpriced. Just saved $ and get a Cordoba stage or one of the tim Henson ibanez models. This guitars craftsmanship is atrocious. Neck was warped, cheap hardware and components. Cheap cheap cheap.
