Good to have
I bought this to produce power to my new Zoom Q2n, and have used it during extended recording sessions when it's placed on a mic stand and doesn't move around.
It works and probably won't void the warranty since it's made by Zoom.
Over priced!
It works as it should but it should come with the camera as standard equipment, not an option! Over-priced for what you get.
