I have owned four different Guiteleles over the past five years and the lanlkai has the highest quality craftsmanship and sound .
Hybrid Uke that Works!
This is one to pull the trigger on. With great action and playability, Lanikai has done a solid job creating a fun to play miniature guitar.
Although I only own two Lanikai ukes, both have had nicely dressed frets, tuners that hold, and good grain patterns.
The built in tuner - which I"ve never been a fan of - helps a good bit, given that this is tuned higher (adbcea) than the standard guitar. The electronics are solid. My only complaint here was that the 9v battery came DOA, but that"s a quick fix.
