Excellent
Strong for a large person to sit on, good enough comfort for a three hour gig.
Nice chair.
Chair is fairly heavy which is a good thing. It does not rock around but does tend to squeek and settle a bit when sitting down. Strongly recommend!
Just do it!
Extremely sturdy. Very comfortable. Don't hesitate spend the money. You'll want to spend more time behind the kit.
Like Seating on a cloud!!!
First I want to thank the Sweetwater team for their great service as always. I've never had a tractor style throne seat, so I was hoping I did the right call. Well this Gibraltar 4 leg throne is like sitting on air. I think the tractor seat lets my legs in a more comfortable position. And the way the seat is made I don't feel like I'm going to fall off like the round Gibraltar I have. I like the 4 legs. It won't tip over( at least it hasn't yet). It's has plenty of up and down travel. I looked for a hydraulic throne but they didn't go high enough. I may have not looked hard enough too. But I was amazed how comfortable it is. The price was maybe a little steep sense it doesn't have hydraulic adjustment. But it is very easy to adjust and lock in place.
Great Throne, Plenty of Room
I decided on this one, because it was wider and the solid four leg base. I am a heavier guys 6'2" - 285, so it was necessary to be sure that it would be comfortable. If you're gigging for 3-4 hours, you better be comfortable. The Pork Pie I used for awhile was thick, but after a couple of sets, I was tired of it. I had some cheap and better quality round stools that were okay, but thirty minutes and you were in pain (I also have had back surgery). This stool seems very comforting, wide with contoured support, and sturdy. I let you know after I put some serious time on it if anything changes, but I'm pleased at the start, for sure.
Great Throne
I bought this for playing/practicing guitar, and I couldn't be happier. It is very comfortable even after a long practice session. The base is very well made and extremely sturdy. Highly recommended!
Very solid
Very nice throne. Fast and easy to change height after grand daughter has been playing. It is rock solid and fine to perch on for extended periods of time. Made of heavy material and double stitched. If it had a motor I'd drive it to work. Love it.
AMAZING!!!
This throne is amazing!!! Super solid and I'm a HEAVY WEIGHT! I've had many thrones but this one is in a class of its own!
Heavy Duty
This is the first drum throne that really felt like it was rooted to the ground I have ever owned. Its heavy, but also feels really good to sit on. Even after a four hour show. Gibraltar 9908, all the way!
