Not stable legs too narrow
I have back issues and was hoping that this stool would allow me to sit at gigs but at a higher barstool height. Unfortunately at its lowest setting which I need at 5'10" the hydraulic piston is to the bottom and it doesn't give like most hydraulic stools do. But the biggest problem I have is the the legs and feet are still very narrow when fully opened that the stool is top heavy and has tipped over when I went to sit on it a couple times. It's probably fine if you're a normal person without mobility and back issues but it's not useable at all for me.
Nice quality
I'm 5'11" w/31" inseam, 240 lbs…this is just slightly tall for my keyboard rig, but works pretty well a near the lowest setting. Still nice and cushy with the pneumatic cylinder.
Superior quality and while a bit heavy, it is super stable and still fairly easy to transport for gigging.
If I were to buy it again, I'd probably get the next size down for my slightly short pant length.
Drum throne
This is a high quality chair. Constructed well and easy to set up and break down. Personally I would have preferred the leather to cover the entire saddle. The fabric will wear much faster than leather. The fabric will absorb sweat and that's good and bad. I'm enjoying it though.
Great Chair!
I have lower back issues when paying Guitar and this chair supports my lower back. The seat cushion is very comfortable. It's easy to fold up and store or to take on the road. Also, construction is solid.
