I needed a stool for my studio and went with a drum throne as it makes a great backup to my drumset's throne, is adjustable for height, and is comfortable to play guitar and bass on. This Gibralter thrones cushion is VERY thick and soft, and is competively priced. No regerts I am glad I ordered it and Sweetwater shipped it fast!

I don't weigh a lot but still like a soft cushiony sturdy seat to practice guitar on. I don't use it to play drums. It was chosen for the cushion, quality and adjustability which placed it over others I could have chosen. It gets me to the height I need to get over the surrounding equipment where I play. This item is sturdy and well built, I enjoy items of high quality that will last and give comfort instead of being rickety, uncomfortable and cheaply made... I believe this seat will last. At 13 pounds I don't consider it light weight but I believe this reflects the high quality. Oh, if you have short legs and adjust it high it doesn't have rails for your feet but I found rubber soled shoes seem to hold fine on the angled legs... it is a drum throne after all and not a guitar stool.

Very comfortable and sturdy drum throne made by Gilbraltar. Really like this and do highly recommend this to anyone that likes comfortable drum thrones and need to sit for extended periods of time behind your drum set.

I had been playing on an old Yamaha throne that was probably 15 year old when I got it...in 1993. So I was due for an upgrade. This is a very supportive and comfortable throne that I feel sure will last me for another 30 years. No complaints at all!

Simple to set up, good quality...what else?

This was not a great choice for a male drummer. It is sturdy, but uncomfortable. The saddle-style throne would have been better. We have arrange to return this item.

I have only used this a couple of times since I received it because I was not able to play for a couple of weeks due to a non-related back injury. However, now that I am back behind the kit, I am loving this throne. Extremely comfortable and stable. There is absolutely no rocking back and forth from the chair and when I am done playing my body doesn't feel like I have been sitting for two hours. I highly recommend it.

Super comfortable and easy adjustable.

This throne is absolutely great. I'm a tall guy and I have back issues and after a few days of adjusting the hight and the angle of the stool I'm sitting
More confortable than I ever had I have less back pain even though I'm playing for longer hours. The base is totally sturdy, no wabbling whatsoever. The sit is super spacious you can sit further back or in the edge and it will really change your distance from the set. The memory foam is super high quality and so thick that no matter how long you are playing you won't sink to the base.

I recommend this seat for drummers who have back problems or difficulty sitting for long periods of time. Extra thick cushion on a strong stand.A+
