The 800 Series traces its roots to Bob Taylor's first guitars and reflects many of his most enduring ideas. The stunning "fiddleback" walnut lends its characteristically warm sound to the 814ce-LTD; blonde maple binding contrasts beautifully with the glossy, highly figured walnut back and sides. A Sitka spruce top helps create a satisfying well of resonance. It is truly a marriage of tone and style to welcome the changing season. The neck of the 814ce-LTD is topical American mahogany and is topped with an ebony fingerboard. The 814ce resides very near the top of the Taylor line.
