Taylor’s acclaimed 700 series combines exceptional USA build quality with an artisan touch of exceptional craftsmanship. Playability and sound is amazing
I have always wanted a KOA Taylor and after receiving it I couldn't be happier. The action on this guitar is truly unlike any other. It almost feels like playing an electric but it's an acoustic. The notes on the fretboard sound amazing and hammer ons/pull offs are effortless.
The tone is truly great! It has a nice warm tone with good mid range. When the guitar is plugged into an amp it sounds even better. I own several acoustics and this is by far the best sounding and playing guitar I have ever owned. There is a reason Taylor puts out high end acoustics and I am extremely satisfied to be a first time Taylor owner.
Taylor 724 ce
Loving my new Taylor! "Sweeter than honeydew vine water" to quote the late great Jimmy Buffet! This amazing guitar was only made better by the awesome service my sale rep Tomir Denton gave me!
Lovely KOA
When I saw that Taylor had changed their 700 series to offer an all KOA 724ce, I was hooked. After a few months of research and waiting for the right one to arrive at Sweetwater, Nate was again ON IT and the love affair began between this beautiful guitar and myself. When I opened the case, I was just amazed at the look of the KOA wood. The sound was even more unbelievable. Thank you Nate and Sweetwater for coming thru yet again on Customer Service, Availability, timely shipping and proper packing. I will always buy my new guitars from Sweetwater!!
"The One"
Most expensive guitar I have ever purchased, and over the years I have bought a lot. You name it including Taylor and Martins. This guitar is stunning, beautiful all around. The tone and different voicing is exactly whatI was after, can be subtle and refined, and can be loud and bright. Zero regrets, would do it all over again..
And a shout out to my SW Engineer Conner Smith, 1000% customer service! '
Cheers
Taylor 724CE Koa - LEGIT, Life-changing, Spectacular
When I looked at investing in a guitar I was taken aback by the Koa wood. Aesthetics did have a lot to do with it (initially) but once I played the 224ce-k I couldn't believe how great it sounded. I knew I could push that further with an all wood instrument but for Koa the next up in the Taylor line was the K-Series. Well, fast-forward 6 months and Taylor dropped the 724ce. I listed 2 other guitars immediately to cover the costs, watched the few YouTube videos available, and pulled the trigger blind (ordered online). All I can say is WOW. This guitar eliminates any "compression" of the sound that I regularly read about the 224CE. I don't know if that is a function of the layered wood or the finish. I didn't hear it until I played the 224 and 724 side by side, but with my exact same skills I sound better, feel better, and am in love. In addition, the string spacing is slightly greater allowing my fat fingers to work better up and down the fret board. This is a beautiful instrument and even after 8 days I will never let this one go. It does have the Taylor "brightness" (which I wanted) and can feel the vibration from this guitar flow through my body and activate my chakras haha. It is legit transcendental!
