I am giving ALL my Mcdsp plugins 1 star reviews! When you purchase a plugin, you expect to own it... In the case of Mcdsp, when I updated my (Mac) computer, all my version 5 Mcdsp plugins stopped working. After several back and forth emails, their only solution is to "Upgrade" to V7, which does include better GUI, and a few other bells and whistles, NOT better SOUND. I just want the v5 plugins I PURCHASED FULL PRICE, to work on the same machine I bought them for. These were expensive!! It would cost them nothing to give me a free "UPGRADE", and they tell me that they either cannot or will not give me a free "UPDATE". Another company that does this is WAVES. I urge everyone to speak out about these companies!! There are so many great companies offering stellar plugins for much less money, that actually DO TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.. For instance, I just bought the SONIBLE PURE bundle, which included 3 plugins; a simple compressor, a limiter, and a reverb, all of them excellent. They gave me previous customer pricing on the already low price, and I did not even have to ask for it!! So I got all 3 for $46! My price just to "UPGRADE" on my Mcdsp vintage limiter, no better that the limiter in the PURE bundle, was $49, ON A PLUGIN I ALREADY BOUGHT FROM THEM!! This is NOT FAIR, and I will never buy another plugin from them, or Waves.
