I truly don't know how they did it! or Listen up guitar world!

This is one of the best intruments that I have ever played let alone had the privilege to own. I am truly amazed at the playability of this instrument and the sound is awesome. It actually sounds good not plugged in as an acoustic archtop. Hooked up to a good amp it only impresses more. The only flaw in the whole relationship belongs to me. I wish the neck was a teeny bit wider at the nut because I have fat fingers. But it only matters with certain chords like F Maj 7th with the open 7th note. I'll live. Finish awesome, construction awesome and tone right up there with axes costing thousands more. I have played archtop jazz boxes from other manufacturers which also had vintage value attached that did not perform at this level. Here that all you other guys! Oh yea the case is really cool too!

Great Instrument

Great workmanship. Nice look and very nice sound even without the amp. Easy finger board. Great that it is not made in China. I am very satisfied after playing it for 3 days. It has made an impression on me and some of my friends
Music background: Playing since1963

Retro feel

I have had the Kingpin II for about a month and really like the sound and feel of it. It sounds like retro guitar, but has the modern touches you would expect. It is the first Godin I have owned, and it seems put together pretty well. I found a few minor flaws in the finish, so it prevented me from giving it five stars. Nice guitar for the price!
