For this price point was an excellent choice ..fun to sit and play a little tight on the neck compared to most acoustic versions but overall nice guitar

As others have stated, it is a great guitar. My salesman, Andy, said it was a great choice and he was correct. It is light and easy to play. It states in tune very well which can sometimes be an issue for 12 strings if any type. The pickup combinations, and lipstick split options, make this a super versatile guitar. It will cover the Byrds and sings like Tangerine, Starship Trooper, and Hotel California with ease. I have now used it twice (once the day after receiving it) for modern P&W at church also. It works great for ambient sounds or jangly Rhythm. Just roll the tone back a hair if you want a little less jangle. Danelectro has alway been a lot of guitar for the money. This is no exception. And I love the Vintage White. It's beautiful.

It's my first 12 string electric and I feel like I found a new best friend with the adventures of tone I have been exploring. It's easy to play and stays in tune much better then I had expected! It fits a regular gig bag with no problem. My gig bag measures 42 inches long. Sweetwater Music has a Gator gig bag that would fit as well. I'm running straight into my EHX Holy Grail reverb pedal and off to the PA system. Very happy with my purchase and I had worked with Justin Dunbar on the purchase.
If you're looking for a decent guitar strap that feels comfortable, try the Levy's cotton straps! They're the best I have found for around 20 dollars.
I gave a 4.5 for a rating because the guitar doesn't come with a gig bag.

The guitar is about 2 weeks old . The axe itself is fine and I am still getting to know my way around it. I was somewhat hesitant to buy a guitar on line without ever playing it but it's the kind of low volume product you're just not going to find in your local GC. So after a ton of research I bought it.
The pick ups are great , came with super cheap Korean strings so you'll want to change that asap .
My frustration is with Sweetwater as this thing was NOT set up. After a week I broke my first string (I wanted to play around with it and knew after I broke one, I'd take it for a look over and fine tuning). Well I trust my local shop; and they could see right off, the whole guitar was "wrong" no adjustment to the string height- it shipped with 11mm at low e and 12mm at high e- you could drive a truck in that space.. neck &truss were never touched- so add in another $ for a full set up to the price . YRMV ; wish I took a pic of that finger board …

Danelectros have always delivered a distinctive style and value, but this time they added quality, nice features and flexible electronics. having had enough Ric 12s in my life (about 8), I decided that after seeing Graham Nash playing one of these I'd give it a try.
The Split coil humbucker at the bridge is wonderful, albeit a bit difficult to turn on/off. (I leave it in single coil anyway). The P90 combined with that split coil humbucker just sings. Add a compressor and you're off to the races.
My ONLY complaint is one I saw in another review - the low "G" string is not wound and stretches; and I will replace it with a wound G. Will probably require filing the nut a bit - 20mm...
Neck is smooth, finish flawless and tuners nice and tight. Well balanced and shimmers when played trhough the aforementioned compressor.
The innovative 12 saddle bridge is just great too.
No more $3000 guitars for me !! ENJOY !!!

I have more guitars than I need but when this Dani 12 string caught my eye I knew that it would fit a lot of the songs that my lead guitarist and I play, we mostly stick to Folk Rock and classic Rock.
When we both ordered one on the same day I knew it was a sign of something good. I was correct. The 50X12 is the easiest 12 string guitar I have ever touched. I can play it all night long and not have aching fingers. The tone is beautiful as I would expect a 12 string to be.
I will be selling my Martin acoustic 12 string that my 73 year old fingers won't let me play without a lot of pain.

Just got a new 59X12 and it is just what I was hoping for. It has a very playable neck (for a 12) and a nice variety of tones, ranging from a mellow 12 to a big jangle. Great value for the money and as always I was very pleased with Sweetwater service,
