Amazing

By Walter Tore's Spontobeat from reno, NV on October 12, 2022 Music Background: Creator of Spontobeat, lived/played around the world for 20 years with my band and many greats of blues/R&R, have a home recording studio.

I have been playing guitar for over 50 years and this guitar plays like I have owned it for 50 years. It literally took minutes to feel this way. The workmanship is top shelf, plays like butter, and the pickups are perfectly matched to my Princeton reverb. Sweetwater is a class operation and Aaron my salesperson makes this a 10-star deal.

Can’t put this one down...

By Chris from Plano on April 8, 2021

I've had this guitar for 5 months now and find myself picking it up daily... it's a pure joy to play. If you're looking for a 335 you can't go wrong with this one. Thanks James for finding this one for me.

Best guitar I ever owned

By Fanst from Montreal on October 12, 2020 Music Background: Pro Guitar Player

Best guitar I ever owned, I have a 58 and 59 LP Reissue, a 3 pickup Black Beauty, Custom Shop 57 Strat, 52 and 63 Tele, a also a Gibson ES-175, and that 59 ES-335 can get all theses sounds, from Rock to Jazz, Blues to Prog, Punk to Pop, Alternative to Fusion, and so much more, this is the guitar that can do it all!

Nashville VOS 1959 reissue is spot on

By Jeff Brewer on September 20, 2020

I received my Nashville 1959 VOS reissue after waiting 2 months for allotment to arrive. The 1959 VOS 335 is spot-on of the original model (only 592 were built). The craftsmanship is flawless and the playability/sound are outstanding. I don't know how this model could be improved. It plays like a dream and was well worth the price and wait.

GIBSON NASHVILLE 335's ARE NO GOOD

By ipmala on July 28, 2020 Music Background: EXPERIENCED COLLECTOR & PLAYER

The BEST ES-335s came from the Memphis factory.
Nashville is not setup for...or experienced in building proper 335's.
Also, Nashville puts Les Paul pickups on their 335's ( NO GOOD ).
Memphis had their own *special* 335 pickups--which were UNDERWOUND.
The Memphis operation was setup specially for building the ES-335.
Nashville is setup mainly for producing the Les Paul.
This particular guitar is a Nashville 335.
POOR MATERIALS...POOR WORKMANSHIP...POOR FINISH...and POOR SOUND.
Also...using Les Paul pickups.
