this version is best!
I purchased the original version of the 506 that had the internal power supply and like many others I got some noise on there 6th slot. Once this model came out I immediately purchased it and all 6 channels are crystal clear, even with my api preamps cranked up fully. The external power supply is WAY better for a crystal clear signal path. It also comes with a nice travel bag and the unit looks fantastic. Very happy with this chassis!
