When you want thunderous bass tone from your picks, look no further than Dunlop’s Robert Trujillo Warlord Custom Bass Picks. These mammoth-size, 1.5mm Delrin picks feature thin, tapered edges designed to supercharge your playing with lightning-fast accuracy, while the enlarged tri-tip surface area opens up a plethora of tonality based on your playing style. Worth the money
I decided that I wanted to buy some bass picks after I lost most of my "Pick of Destiny" picks. They worked great as bass picks. I wanted to get myself something nice as I've been getting by with Green Tortexes.
These Robert Trujillo picks are incredible. I feel like I have so much control over it and I'm not fighting it at all, it's not slipping away. The textured part in the middle feels great and I can thrash hard with it. I got them on sale and they are worth every penny.
Be sure to undo the staple on the packaging gently. There's a fun surprise on the other side of the cardboard.
These are great!
So, after playing bass finger style for many years, I'm starting a punk band. Never plays with a pick before. I tried lots of picks. Thick, thin, medium, all different materials. All different shapes, and edge profiles. But I sucked with a pick. I just felt like I was doing something wrong. Then I got these, and now I get it. The other picks I tried would get caught up when I was playing chords. Then I tried these, and they are great for playing hard and fast. They give a little, don't get caught up, the profile is more forgiving, so is the material they're made of.
Best Bass Picks I've Ever Played With
Hard enough to go as hard as I need with my metal band, but with just a tiny bit of flex, so it doesn't feel like I'm just holding a rock, like with a Stubby. My only qualm is that it was a tiny bit bigger edge-to-edge, like the doritos Fender makes, but I have very large hands. They feel like they're meant expressly for playing fast and hard. The grippy middle and slightly lower price are what make me like them more than the Ernie Ball Prodigy picks. Also they're crimson, which looks great.
