Lexan Jazz Guitar Picks, 3.0mm, 6-pack

Stubby is a fitting name for Dunlop's Stubby Jazz Guitar Picks. They're short, wide, and a little on the heavy side while providing a highly addictive playing feel. Made from ultra-durable Lexan plastic, these picks have a contoured edge that gives you a slick attack that's great for legato and lightning-fast runs. And the best part? The grip is so stable that it feels like the Stubby Jazz is glued into your hand. Take it from us, even Sweetwater's most notorious pick droppers had an easy time hanging onto these! If you're looking for a new pick, the Dunlop Stubby Jazz Guitar Picks definitely won't disappoint.

My favorite picks for 20 years

By Sweetwater Customer

I've seen a lot of players talking about jazz picks lately, but I don't hear much said about these specifically. I first tried these out because they're small, and regular picks just didn't make sense to me because I hold them so that just the tip sticks out and there's all this unnecessary pick left over. As thick and inflexible as they are, you can get a nice full tone while playing with less picking force which I think is better for technique but maybe that's just me. They've got a nice bevel to them so they slide over the strings pretty easily too, you can strum with them no problem once you're used to them. I have some in all 3 thicknesses but I like the 2 and 3 mm the best.

Great Pick

By richard b. from new york, NY

I've always been a fan of tear drop picks and the Dunlop Jazz III but after trying one of these at a buddy's house I was instantly sold on this pick. I believe this is now going to be my go to pick for most of my playing. Another reviewer said that they are hard to hold. In my opinion it's just the opposite. I haven't dropped this pick once and have been using it for hours everday. To be fare I never drop any picks. It's definitely each individual's personal preference. I give these picks a 5 out of 5 for speed and accurate playing!

By far my favorite pick

By Sweetwater Customer

Been using these for years and I love the accuracy and compact yet heavy feel. The sculpted tip is unmatched by other pick shapes.

I think they should be XL...

By Justin W. from North Wilkesboro, NC

When I bought these picks I saw they didn't say XL. But I was hoping they would be the size of the regular stubbys just jazz shaped. Nope they are jazz sized as well. They play really smooth and are great for cleans. Under high gain they are super tamed. The issue is the size. The lackluster grip and size make these things hard to hold. They are very easy to drop. If the regular small jazz picks are no issue for you these may be fine. If not I wouldn't bother.
