Blown Away by this bass!
This thing sounds and plays amazing. I also have a fender jazz ultra I was originally getting this as a back up bass to have to play as well since my jazz ultra was more in cost, but so blown away by this bass they will both get equal play time. These Geezer Butler pick ups have a clear punchy mid range tone that cuts like a knife! All three finishes they offer in this model are all great. I picked the trans red just because I've always been partial to certain shades of red. I was able to set the action just as I like with plenty of adjustment left either way. It did come set up very nice as is, I just play alot of slap and wanted to lower the strings a little which was no problem at all to do. Very nice lightweight hipshot tuners no neck dive. Just wish Lakland would have atleast sent this with a gig bag for the price it was, it deserves one!
