I purchased this case from Sweetwater just before a string of road dates that were coming up. I had grown tired of fighting with the airlines to get my guitar on the plane in a soft bag and resigned to getting a good road worthy case for travel so I could check it into baggage instead. If you were like me you'd be nervous but let me tell you this case is really great. It has taken some hard jolts as are witnessed by the dings on the outside of the case but every time I open the case the guitar is solidly protected and in tune! I have mostly great things to say about the case including its large storage areas inside, for pedals and straps etc., and also its ample protection but the one plus and drawback of the case is that it has wheels. The wheels are a back saver for moving it longer distances but the drawback is that there is a handle on the wheel end of the case that has a tendency to open up when wheeling the case and it drags on the ground at times which can be annoying. It would be nice if there was a latch to hold that handle on place until it is needed but all in all it's not that big a deal. Just a minor annoyance. If you're on the fence about cases look no further. The SKB i series cases are solid and roadworthy. They will handle whatever the road throws at them.

I'm not sure how anyone could give this case anything but five stars? I see you guys dinging this case because your
whatever didn't fit the case. That's NOT the fault of the case. Perhaps you should have asked more questions / done more
research! I bought two of these for one very expensive custom Strat style, and one very expensive Tele style guitar
and wouldn't think about putting them in anything else!! When you ding excellent gear because of your personal issues, it doesn't help anyone! You could spend more on a "road case" That doesn't travel a well and isn't waterproof. Not I'll
be surfing on it anytime soon, but good to know I'd give this 6 stars if I could. Oh yeah, it's heavy!

This seems like it would be a nice case but I was shocked when I went to set my PRS Vela inside of it. It flopped around all over the place. I ended up returning it for a Gator GTSA-GTRELEC ATA Molded Guitar Case with TSA latches. It fit extremely well in it!

I Bought this case mostly for use with my Schecter Hellraiser C-1 but found that it also fits my other 2 Schecters (both Cs), my standard Telecaster, and even my Jackson Dinky. The Tele doesn't have the control clearance issue that the strat/tele case does, and the large headstock opening makes it perfect for "hockey stick" headstocks. In fact it fits so many of my guitars that it will probably be kept for use with whatever I am taking with me. The Quality and protection of this case is every bit as good as my other SKB i series cases....phenomenal!

This case is great and would take anything unfortunalty it didnt fit my guitar but still a very heavy duty case reccomended for flying or if your just really clumsy

This thing is a tank! I bought this case for a custom project guitar of mine and it has held up to everything I have put it through. It's good that it has casters as it an be heavy, but it seems pretty indestructible.

Only gave it a 4.5 because of the weight.
