Love my 1st Rickenbacker

I love this guitar.Plays beautifully,looks killer.Problem finding a capo that works.Some capo companies say their capo won't work on Rics.I will find one because I love to play this.Throw in a compressor,and get rockin'.And a big shoutout to my sales guy Bart Amburn.Thank you Bart,YOU ROCK!You made it so easy,and sent me pictures.Great service.Thank you Sweetwater.

One of a kind!

I received this guitar a couple of weeks ago. I had one back in the mid 90's that I loved and was saddened to have let it go. I had always planned to replace it and am so happy I did. There isn't amother 12 string electric that sounds, feels, or looks like a Rickenbacker. They're still handmade out in California to order. No mass produced outsourced cheap models! I respect that and though they cost a bit more, and there are tons of guitars that cost a lot more, no one I know of is ever disappointed with one of these. The Beatles, The Byrds, Tom Petty, among countless others, can't be wrong. If you want a truly iconic 12 string don't cheat yourself out of an amazing experience with some cheap imitation. And please make sure to get yours from Sweetwater!! Their obsession with customer service - both before and after the sale - is second to none. Mark Magdich is my guy and I've gotten other guitars from him in the past. He really cares and knows his stuff. And Sweetwater also provides their 55 point inspection before shipping your guitar to make sure it's working and looking perfect! I don't think anyone else does that!! This is an amazing guitar - Sweetwater is an amazing place - call Mark. You'll be glad you did!
