Great Guitar / Great Service
Sound and playability are both top notch. Very articulate but well balanced tone and surprisingly powerful bass response despite the preconceptions I had about Taylor. Coming from an electric guitar player I've always wanted an acoustic that handles like an electric and this fits the bill perfectly. Also a big shoutout to Chris and Sweetwater's customer service - I wish more companies offer the level of quality you guys do.
Taylor Blacktop Wow!
The look of the guitar is complimented by the beautiful sounds this baby makes! I received it as a gift from my family for my birthday and right out of the box it was perfect. The feel of the stings and action is silky smooth and the mahogany gives it a little bass. I think I have the perfect guitar for my taste.

Sounds deep without amp. Upper scales like jazz guitar. Bridge had to be shaved, low e too tall. Elixar strings were too heavy, went 10/47 haven't played acoustic since Bush II was in office. I will attempt to play this guitar to its potential, I am complete. Thank You. As an aside are Taylor owners noticing scratches from the Nomad device? The clearance seems slight as is the insulating pad, please advise. Once again, Thank You, with respect Gregory Bonick

Just WOW
I will preface this with the fact that this is my first acoustic. I have been playing nothing but electric to this point, so take that and the following for what you will.
Everything about this instrument is quality. It is beautiful in every way (Looks and Sound). This is my first Tayler and not likely to be my last. The tuners are great. the fret work is beautiful, The built in EQ is really something, made by wizards I guess ;). The satin neck feels amazing. The plug hidden inside the strap nut is just brilliant. Worth every cent IMO. This thing is so nice I feel weird not having some kind of take it out of its case and put it back in it's case ritual every time I want to play it hahaha.
I have to thank my Sweetwater rep Alex, for the recommendation on the Taylor brand.
Great Look, Great Sound
Plays and sounds great right out of the box. The two tone look is beautiful, the ebony fretboard and headstock make the blackout look just stunning.
