Great guitar but warranty work needed after purchase.
Soon after purchasing this guitar I noticed buzzing in the first and second fret, E and B string. I took it to an authorized service technician and he said that the truss rod was locked down too tight. Shouldn't something like this be found in the multi-point inspection?
Very Impressed.
I've never owned a Taylor guitar before this. I was skeptical because I often prefer more traditional tones from classical, and the deeper Martin-Esque tones from steel-string acoustics.
However, I was looking for something that I could seamlessly use a pick, my fingers, strum, play Jazz, Classical, and Folk on one instrument. This fits the bill perfectly. The tones are balanced and piano-like, pleasant. It's just enough traditional and just enough cross-over to play a little of everything, and make for a beautiful sound and a smooth playing experience.
There are no flaws to be found in the finish, the frets. You can feel the vibrations over every millimeter of the top, all the notes are clear and bell-like. Not only do I regret not buying this sooner, but it has also sold me on the sound and quality of Taylor guitars.

Great Guitar
Amazing guitar not only because of it's natural sound and the craftmanship, it is also good for people who play acoustic and electric guitar cause the touch of this instrument is very similar to a regular acoustic. More playability on a classical guitar and the pick up they used is very natural. So even if you are playing just an acoustic or connect it to your amp the tone will still give you that classical sound. The best nylon guitar that i own and i collect guitars and i am very happy to include this wonderful instrument to my collection. If you guys have a chance to try it please do so and i can assure you that you will like it right away like i did. Thanks again to sweetwater and my sales engineer Jeff Law for always recommending me the best guitar.
Taylor 314ce N
My first Nylon string guitar it works real well for certain songs I'm playing. Love playing some Jerry Reed covers on it. Yes nice guitar and good price range .
Great fun guitar
Great quality and build. Ive played 3 and own one. They all sounded very nice, yet different. Same strings ea. The timbre is clear and precise both fingering and chords. Very light feeling guitar, and really exhibits a vibrant soundboard without any mud.
