Bought a brand new Jackson David Ellifsen CBXIV and got this case with it. Very rugged and well thought out. Couldn't ask for anything more!

feels weightless, versatile carry options, bass fits perfectly, smells like a new car.

I'd love to give this 5 stars but I have to knock it down half a star due to the handle placement. They didn't think the handle placement through very well and they put it right in the center which makes for slightly awkward and unbalanced carrying.

Anyhow, here are my thoughts on this case...
- The great thing about this case is the neck support, it accommodates the Jackson headstock very well without the need of additional support to keep from putting pressure on the angled headstock.
- It's basically the innards of a hardshell case wrapped in fabric and it performs the job of storing the case in the home very well.
- If you are a local musician and play the occasional gig around town, this should do the job of transporting your bass around town with no issue.
- My CBX IV Dave Ellefson Bass fits in with some small gaps around it, but with a few soft hand towels along the sides it creates a snug fit. I don't see this as an issue and this is to be expected since its a universal case and I would probably have to do the same for a more expensive universal hardshell case.

All in all, it's great for what it is even with the irritating handle placement.

This is a great case for your Jackson bass. It fits my Ellefson Jackson comfortably.

Nice case. Fits Dave Ellefson 5 string bass well. Nice protection for at home. Wouldn't use for traveling.

recently purchased this case for my Jackson 5 string David Ellifson signature series bass
it is ultra light weight ...like cheap light weight.
the handle is a vinyl wrap around two cloth pieces that is not comfortable to hold at all,
especially since all know guitar case handle placement was ignored. The handle is in the middle of the case.
it is not off set like every other case ever made...so this case will not balance well and the body end of your
bass will hang lower again causing much discomfort in your hand from the horrible handle.
I would never recommend this product to any one and if i had kept the box i would be sending it back
I may still try to see if thats possible

This is the perfect balance between a case and a gig bag. First I have to state that this case has great neck support. To me that's the most important thing. These cases are light weight, but can be stacked for storage or transport. I'm so glad I tried these cases. I will be purchasing more for my other basses that have gig bags.

Bought this to carry my Ibanez G10 5 string. The fit is perfect. It is nice and light while being lightweight yet well padded Also, a nice looking case. .
