Great

Product fits well and easy to travel with

Nice bag

By Eric from Ohio on June 30, 2023 Music Background: Weekend warrior

Fits my Jackson Scott Ian flying v just fine.

Works as expected

By Alexi Ruse from PHILADELPHIA, PA on May 8, 2023 Music Background: Black metal demigod

Fits my Jackson Rhoads JS32 perfectly. Build, material, and padding are adequate for a gig bag. If you want more protection, if you are hauling expensive gear - get a hard case.

Watch for the straps carabins (or whatever those are called), make sure they are secure or take the straps off completely: I was messing around with one of them after getting out of a car, and it became unlocked by accident, which resulted in the bag slamming from pretty high up (I am over 6' tall) onto sidewalk. A user error, but still.

Not a single issue with the instrument afterwards (a scratch or anything else like that) to speak of, so again - the bag works as expected. Do not recommend this kind of crash dummy testing, though.

Awesome

I had seen a lot of reviews on this and other music store sites that this gig bag might not fit my Jackson Rhoads. I decided to try it anyway because I knew Sweetwater would take it back if it didn't fit. It fits wonderfully. Great price on this gig bag and received quickly.

Great gig bag

By David Arredondo from San Antonio, TX on March 27, 2022 Music Background: Studio and touring musician

Ordered this for safe storaging my Jackson Warrior, it's a great inexpensive gig bag for my Jackson. Do you reccomend you store it flat rather than on its side due to the shape of the guitar but other than it's a great bag

Exactly what I expected: Good for what it is

By Sweetwater Customer on February 1, 2022

If you're looking to buy this soft case you should not be looking to beat it up or put it through its paces or expect protection like a hard shell case. It is a soft guitar gig bag with no neck support, padding on the back and some padding on the top, that's what the photos show and that's what it is. It has enough padding to bring your guitar back and forth without fear of scratching or denting it, that's it. If you want something substantial don't expect to pay $. That said, it snuggly fits my 7 string Jackson Warrior Dave Davidson pro signature guitar. I rate it 5 stars because it is exactly what it says it is and it is exactly what I expected: a soft gig bag with enough padding to safely transport my guitar in my car without any substantial weight on top of it to go to rehearsal.

Works Well For My Warriors

By Travisty7 from Florida Keys on January 9, 2022 Music Background: Semi Pro

Both of my Jackson Warriors WRX24 and WRX24M fit snugly in this well constructed gig bag. I prefer the gig bag because of the Warrior shape, a rectangular hard shell case would take up too much room in the trunk of my mustang (and anywhere else I guess).

Tight fit

By phillip litka from Cherry Valley, CA on October 17, 2021

It's a tight fit! Rhoads X-series and it's just enough space. It's got plenty of padding too. It's Budget gig bag quality. Not junk but not "second to a hard case" it will get the job done and for me that's all that matters.

DEE¢

By AmeR Ćehić from US on October 16, 2021 Music Background: Inculcation, MontourJazzBand

My 7 string RR fits. Took a lil effort to zip up so of course it's snug as a bug. Padding is not as thin as I feared but still thin.

It fits

By Doug from Colorado on March 2, 2021

This bag fits my Jackson Warrior great. I wouldn't use it as a gig bag but I really don't think this was made for that. It protects the guitar from dust and accidental bumps which is what I use it for.

Great Gig Bag!

By Mark Elison from UT on April 12, 2019

Bought this gig bag for my son's new Jackson King V. Fits perfect and seems to be constructed very well. Not to mention the service and support at Sweetwater is second to none!

Jackson Gig Bag

Thought it was a great buy. When it arrived I saw what a quality product it is. Everything from the storage to functionality. .

It Serves it's Purpose

I use one for my Rhoads, and it fits just fine. It gets the job done.

Great basic Gig Bag

By Jimm Cobb from Kannapolis, NC on October 30, 2021

I bought this for my JS32 RR. The fit is a bit snug around the point of the headstock and the point of the top cut of the upper portion of the body. It is a pretty decent BASIC gigbag. The padding is on the thin side, but the bag is constructed out of some pretty tough material. If you need TOTAL secure protection, you might want to go ahead and plan on shelling out more money for the Jackson hard case. For just around the house/studio or rehearsal room, this may be all you need. Kudos for the zippered pockets.

Does what it supposed to do.

By Sweetwater Customer on January 23, 2023

It has got fantastic padding and enough room (somewhat more) for a V style body which is great. Only issue I have is the design on top. There is FAR too much space for the neck and headstock. It is very loose and doesn't feel very secure. That being said....it's a gig bag, from Jackson, for $. That's a great deal imo as long as your not ACTUALLY gigging with this. Get a hardshell case if your going to be traveling a lot. For around the house and very light protection, this is more than enough.

Good but could be better

By David L from Arizona on June 3, 2020 Music Background: Drummer/Guitar player

Upon receiving this item it was built well. Solid gig bag, padding was solid (thin but not too thin.) The zippers are built well and the front pockets(2 pockets) are nice and roomy. The only problem I have and still have is the bag has a super tight fit. I own a Standard Jackson Rhoads, the js32t model. I had to kind of shove the guitar in and forse the zipper to close completely. I flipped it, checked the corners, still had a somewhat tough time closing the bag. After a few days it seemed to have stretched and now it works perfect. Other than that its a solid bag, good for any gig musician or closet shredder.

Doesn't fit Warrior properly

By Smart Metal (TM) from Stockton California on March 9, 2019 Music Background: Death Metal

The long end on the Warrior sticks out. Be careful, or you could damage it..

It's okay. . . I guess

By Steven on October 16, 2021

It just barely fits my Jackson Rhoads. By barely, I mean barely. You have to basically cram it in there and there's no head room at all, not even an inch. It's pretty disgusting that Fender calls this a Jackson Product. It is only a gig bag and I am only using this temporarily until I get a case but it was just poorly designed. I know it wouldn't have killed them to make it an inch longer. Not only is it very difficult to fit your instrument in here but you're actually putting it at risk by using this gig bag. It applies a pretty uncomfortable amount of pressure to the headstock and also I wouldn't trust that zippers on here as they once opened up on me while I was walking with my guitar.

TL;DR

It's a piece of junk. Only buy this if you don't have another $ to spend on an actual casr. Protects your guitar from scratches though.

No protection

By edward rodriguez from Las Vegas, NV on June 30, 2023

The bag was not expensive but having the Jackson name and logo on it I wasn't prepared for cheap non existent protection for a beautiful guitar.

Not as good as I thought it would be.

By Matt Smith from OH on January 18, 2017

Case is pretty thin for the price. My 24 fret rhoads v fits, but guitar feels loose and flops around quite a bit. Would not recommend taking to gigs. Storage compartments are nice and roomy. With more neck support and a little more padding this bag would be descent.

Waste of money. Offers basically no protection.

By Sweetwater Customer on December 19, 2023

The zippers are fully exposed and in direct contact with the guitar on the inside of the case. If there is any contact with something and the zipper, it results in damage to the guitar. All of the points on my Kelly have damage from this gig bag. It is probably worse than having no case at all because of the false sense of security that it gives you. I wish I had not bought this. Save your money and buy the hard case. I ended up having to buy the hard case anyway.

Zipper broke after using two times

By Sweetwater Customer on December 13, 2023

Bought specifically to use with Jackson flying V. Guitar fits great but the zipper split after barely using it. Tried to fix it but zipper is beyond repair and now afraid the guitar will fall out.

1st time using it the zipper tore up

By Donna from TN on January 11, 2017 Music Background: Guitarist & Drummer

I took my Jackson RRXT to a gig on New Year's Eve in this new gig bag and the zipper jammed and literally ruined the zipper. It would have cost as much to have a new zipper put in as the gig bag cost so I gave the bag to someone on Craigslist that had access to a heavy duty sewing machine! The cheap plastic zipper is very weak. I don't recommend this gig bag at all.
