This thing is amazing
I love this ukulele. When I say "my ukulele" I'm talking about this one...even though I have multiple. I put aquila reds on it with an unwound fluorocarbon low G. It sounds beautiful with any of the string combos I've tried, I just think this is the best compliment to the clear, layered resonance/ring that it has naturally. I also bought a concert size of this same model (same tonewood, treatment etc.) Cordoba ukes just sound great. The spalted maple is cool, all of them look different from each other. The markings on mine are pretty crazy but I like it.
I really like it...I don't spend a lot of time thinking about "upgrading." I think I'd have to go up pretty high in price range from here to find something I'm more attached to.
Better than my previous $500 Uke.
I have had several other tenor ukes. None of them play or sound as great as this one. It came to me stock out of the box and it wasn't until recently that I lowered the saddle and string height at the nut and man what a huge difference! I was having pains in my left hand making bar chords but now I can really stretch and still be able to put enough pressure on the string for a clean sound. The Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides not only look good but make for a clean and crisp sound. I have a small VOX cube amp and the electronics and pick up are excellent. Highly Recommended!!
