Perfect for beginners and more
Although I am a beginning ukulele player, I have played the violin for many years. Having a "playable" instrument was going to be key in my decision to keep playing the ukulele. The 20SM is absolutely perfect in every way! The sound is RICH and RESONANT. The strings, frets, and fret board are easy to press and reach. It is also beautifully crafted. Given its price point, this is a great instrument for serious beginners and beyond.
Plays very well
Overall this is a great little instrument. It has a beautiful finish and plays very nicely. Has a nice warm tone and is much more comfortable to play than my very cheap Uke.
It did arrive with some sort of defect in the finish, and a little bit of wood on the bridge looks like it is peeling at the corner.
A couple very small things that do not affect the playability of the instrument so I did not send back for a replacement, but still a bit annoying to pay this much for a Uke and have defects as to where my $30 uke has none. (other than being cheap and sounding terrible)
Pretty good yooook
This is a ukulele that replaced my initial purchase. Round 1 was a Kala with awful intonation. By comparison, this Córdoba is pretty solid. It"s beautiful to look at. It"s finish is so fine and smooth that I probably seem a little too handsy with it.
The sounds is pretty good. I do wish for more, but I didn"t shell out the dough.
