Great case. I own the hard case and this is the same as that but with a cloth covering. Not at all what I expected. If I would have known it was that good I never would had gotten the hard case. Fits my Dean v perfectly. A little room left over but not too much play. Look into this case before buying the heavier more awkward hard case. The only downside RE the 2 mile long zippers.

This "Flying V" soft case is built to contain and protect the guitar much better than a typical "soft case". Large portions of this case offer of this case are rigid enough to offer "flight case/road case" protection beyond any other high quality soft case I own.
I am impressed.

This a a great sturdy case for travel. Lots of pockets and made well.

The first case I received had a split zipper. I figured it was damaged in shipping as the box was bashed in pretty well. Sweetwater was quick to replace the defective case and was a pleasure to deal with. The zipper split on the second case I received as I was getting ready to head out to a gig. I got the zipper to go over the bad area and was able to use it that night. As I was getting ready for my second gig using the case, the zipper split and I was unable to get it to right itself. Even if I could have remedied the situation I would not have felt comfortable carrying my V in it. Perhaps I just got the two defective zippers to come out of the factory. Not trying to throw shade at the company, I was just 2/2 on defective products. Sweetwater was great to deal with, though. They get 5 stars.

I've been using this case for almost 3 years, and I have to say it's got it all over a traditional hard case. It's light, rigid, super-protective; it's got pockets to keep your stuff in; you can stand it up on its side or on the V-shaped bottom. In short if you need a case for a Flying V guitar, ignore tradition -- get this case.

This is a very nice case. I have bought and use several of these (LP, Strat, Explorer & Acoustic) and I have not experienced any problems.

Excellent protection, Jackson Rhoads case alternative to the huge cases of the past. Only complaint is the handle is located such that the balance is off and it hangs uncomfortably (headstock heavy). Still, excellent, very rigid and light.
