This case was more than what I expected. It is well built and holds my Dangelico Bowery perfectly. It is well built, holds the guitar securely and the plushness gives me the confidence that the beautiful finish on my guitar will be well taken care of.

I purchased a Takamine Acoustic Electric Guitar and I needed a hardcase for it. Candace Irizarry did a wonderful job finding a hardcase that fit perfectly for my new Guitar. It has a green felt like material as a lining and the clasps work spot on. This case is bulletproof and Candace knows her stuff. That you Candace and thank you Sweetwater.

Reached out to support for a 1970's Ibanez Case and they gave me several choices. Once ordered it cam quickly, well packaged and a pretty good fit. A very nice case which I can not for the life of me comprehend why it is dubbed an "Economy" case.

I bought this case for my Martin 12-string guitar and have been very satisfied with it.it is a perfect fit and constructed very well. Again my experiance with Sweetwater was great , their customer service and follow up is rated 10- stars. All my gear and guitars will be bought at Sweetwater.

Very good case. I wanted a hard case instead of the beautiful soft case the Dss17 came with. Cases for the Dss17 are very confusing and hard to fit properly.I tried my two other dread cases first and were way too tight. I spoke with Ben Stein (salesman) and explained my problem. He listened and understood. He gave me some options and I jumped.i was skeptical but felt good about his research. Well, he definitely proved me wrong and I was so happy for the Martin's new home. Just so you know people who deal with Martin guitars have a bit of trouble sizing a case for this model. Thank you Ben!

I picked up a Taylor 150e so I could play that sweet into riff to Wish you were here, but it didn't come with a case so I hit my boy, Nick, at sweetwater up with a mission to find me a hard case that fit it. He went above and beyond and found this for me. It fits perfectly, and the only way I could be happier with it is if he would have sent it to me for free lol.

Light weight! very Sturdy! fit the guitar like A glove! Beautiful craftmanship! Love the Green color interior.

My fg820 12 fits in the case very nicely. A little loose , but putting my polishing rag at the heel snugged it right up. The construction I very good and it's a lot lighter than my Epiphone case. Thanks Bryan , you've done it again

Being an owner of 9 Epiphone guitars ( 4 Les Pauls, 4 Masterbilts and 1 bass) - each of which is kept inside an Epiphone premium hardshell case, I had already expected that I would again get an Epiphone hardshell case when my newest guitar arrives - a Cort Gold Series D8 Dreadnought in Lightburst gloss finish. And the Cort D8 did look nice and at home inside an Epiphone EDREAD case. But, something was telling me that it was not a match, if you know what I mean. So, I started looking around. Unfortunately, I could not find a hardshell case that says CORT on the outside. So, I expanded my search to include other brands. And based on product reviews, this SKB 1SKB-8 came on top. So, I ordered one on-line. When it finally arrived, I was both nervous and excited as I was not exactly sure how this case would interact with my Cort guitar. The case came well-packed. Once unpacked, the SKB 1SKB-8 was definitely different. It looked sleek and modern with rounded contours which I like. It was also shorter and lighter. Opening the case, I noticed that the latches were snappy and well-placed. The deluxe plush lining exuded class. The foam interiors were rigid. The full neck support for me was a big plus. When I finally nestled my Cort guitar inside the case for the first time, the guitar just naturally and comfortably laid down. That's when I knew that I made the right choice. It was a perfect match! And here's a bonus. I never thought that the 1SKB-8's green interior will complement the Cort D8's blue-green Abalone rosette and Abalone inlays that are found on the headstock, fingerboard & bridge pins. When something unexpected like that happens, it's the best feeling!!!

I reached out to Will to find a case for a hollow body style, but I missed his response and didn't follow up until after the weekend. Will still got it to me in time to give it to my son as a gift before he moved out of town that Thursday. Above and beyond!

My daughter was given an old Dreadnought guitar from her grandmother and it's a great guitar that needed a case to protect it, so I turned to Sweetwater to find a guitar case for the acoustic guitar. Chris was very helpful in helping me figure out which case would work for her guitar's measurements. He had me take the measurements and I gave him a photo of the guitar as well, and he gave me a list of cases that would fit this guitar. I chose this case and we're very pleased with it. the inside lining truly protects the guitar and it gives it a snug fit, and the case itself is hardy, that we know it will protect the guitar for years to come. It comes with its little storage bin that's inside the case, below the neck of the guitar. Great for putting extra strings, guitar picks, etc. All in all, a very pleasant purchase. Great for the money. Even better, having Chris McCown and Sweetwater help us choose the right gear!

Nice case! Great price. Lighter than the wood ones I have now, but still sturdy. It holds my Custom made dreadnought (martin style) perfectly. I also put my Yamaha FG720 12-string in and it fits (barely.) I does have fairly hard padding for the interior, but I'm not using it for flying, just going to and from local gigs and practice. I will have to get more of these for my other guitars.

I have been looking for a hard-shell case for my Fender Sonoran acoustic . It has a Strat neck and a dreadnought body. Sweetwater helped me fine the right one with ease. Love the treats they send in the packaging too! :-)

This marks the fifth SKB case in this same basic line now in our stable. They are sturdy, light, and very manageable. Though I prefer multi-laminate, archtop wood cases in general, thermoplastic cases have definite utility in some situations. These are the best value I've found so far in that configuration. If you want something beefier, badder and battle-ready, look for other pricier options. If you need something the works well in peacetime for a reasonable cost, consider the 1SKB-8.

Thanks Seeetwater for this great case at at an even greater price. Shipped for free. Can't beat that. I was concerned about the fit for the Ibanez V300 due to the large headstock on it. This case fits the guitar like a glove. Inside has great padding so no concern about damage to the guitar. I purchased another brand dreadnaught case previously but returned it as quality was not as good and it did not fit my guitars. Learned my lesson, will purchase my gear from the fine folks at Sweetwater. Thanks guys, this case made a wonderful Birthday present.

SKB makes great, solid cases for a good price. This is the third SKB case I've purchased; it's replacing a dreadnought case that I left on a mission trip. I'm confident the old case will keep their guitar safe even in the rain forest.
The new one is better than their previous design, with nicer padding, but still the same tough shell and secure latches. I also have an electric bass case from SKB that is very good.
And, it's American made.

I bought this case for my 10 year old. It snuggly protects the guitar from the occational pump here and there. Highly recommend it!

Got certified fit case for my new Michael Sweet Acoustic Guitar. Snug fit. No movement. Solid

Bought this for a Yamaha FG-412L that my daughter has had for a long time. So far, so good. There's a little bit of space top to bottom that was solved with a narrowly rolled cloth stuffed at the end- this was expected, the crucial measurement was finding a case that would fit the lower bout being wider than 16", and it's a great fit width-wise. So with the cloth added, it's perfectly snug.
It's well balanced for carrying, the latches close cleanly. The plush lining is soft, doesn't feel thin. There is a bit of a plastic-y smell when you first open it, but she left it open to air out for 2 days and it faded.
Overall, seems like a sturdy case. Nice to finally have a safe spot for the guitar after all these years.

The case is really nice and seems very well constructed, however I am enjoying my new Epiphone EJ-45ME (also from Sweetwater) so much, it only went into the case one time to be sure it fit

I bought this case to protect my martin d16 rosewood special. I was very impressed with the quality of this case, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good hard case.

I'd been taping the edges of my 25 year old Gibson acoustic guitar case for the past several years. It still got the job done, but really looked pretty ragged. As im a regular gigging musician, the case was in and out of the van three or four days each week, year round. I finally decided to grab a new case and my sales rep used the dimensions I provided to recommend this SKB molded economy case. It was delivered very quickly, like everything else I've ordered from Sweetwater.

Make no mistake, this is not a top of the line item. The key word here is "economy". The best part of this item is the plush interior. It's nicely cushioned and very attractive. The Hummingbird fits well, snug but not overly so. Where the problem lies is the quality of latches and hinges. They feel shoddy and don't easily fit together or operate easily. Every time I try to close the case, much alignment effort is required. Last week I pinched my left thumb trying to close a latch after a four hour solo gig.

I'll probably keep the case for a guitar which doesn't travel much and buy yet another, albeit higher quality, case. At this point, I'll probably look at Gibson cases again.

Martin D-12e. Case is nice but a little loose for my liking. I added a few folded microfiber towels to bottom and end so guitar doesn't move around as much which probably will give added protection. Really like the lining and style, and shape. So even though it's not a 100% fit I'm still happy

Awesome case! Fit a Yamaha FGX830c perfectly! Sweet water was super helpful with their "certified fit".

For an economy case , I was impressed with the way it was appointed. The plush green lining was a refreshing change.
Over all fit and finish was Superior to some of the other cases I have been comparing.
My ej 160e fits top to bottom very snug cradled at all the right places with no movement.

I have a Breedlove Concerto. It is a little larger than the usual dreadnaught size. After trying several other cases, this one fit the best. It showed up in two days and Keith was great in helping me determine which case would work.

I would likely give this case a five but I haven't used it. Here is the story. I place guitars with young relatives and others who want to learn music. Two and one half years ago I placed a Gibson Maestro with my niece's son. In the summer he dropped it while it was in it's gig bag damaging the back. We practice together each week while he works to achieve the "Comerfield Honorary Elvis Degree." One week I picked up the Maestro to jam and it sounded so bad I immediately traded to him a Fender Dreadnought I had on standby to place. The Fender did not have a case so I purchased the SKB 1SKB-8 and it works very well. Especially, now he has all his picks and other guitar paraphernalia with the guitar at all times.

Thanks Sweetwater for a great item. There is only one drawback. It does not fit under his bed but I'm sure he has worked that out.

Got this case for my Martin D30. From the very first few closes and latches the hinges are out of alignment. So every time I close the lid to latch it is hard to close without messing with the cover hinges. I won't buy this brand again.
