LittLite 18G-LED 18" Gooseneck LED Lamp with BNC Connector Reviews

I bought two of these lamps. One for the church's Mackie mixer, and the other for my amateur radio equipment. I bought a magnetic antenna mount BNC to BNC with a 10 ft cable which allows positioning the lamp on a metal surface. Intended for a small antenna on a car roof, but good for flat magnetic indoor surfaces as well. Available from MFJ Enterprises. (mfjenterprises.com). I also noticed if the lamp is powered by a 12 volt variable power supply, the lamp turns RED when the voltage is cut to about 6 volts, and will return to white at 12 volts. Possibly useful for a night vision application?

it is a bit too long/tall but works great. The 12 inch model instead of 18 inch would have been better. but it still is great.

I needed light to plug mics into the interface of my mobile recording rig. This light gives me what I need to get up and running in any lighting conditions. It's plenty bright.

This is an excellent Lite for my Mackie mixer.

Before I ordered two 18" Gooseneck Lamps, I was thinking maybe I could get shorter ones and save a few bucks. I'm glad I got the longer ones. I can focus them better, and when I'm plugging and unplugging cables, I can swivel them around and get lots of light where I need it, without effort. The lights are really bright and consistent, and it makes reading the little bitty legends near the knobs and switches of my Mackie mixer much easier (I still don't understand why they'd put white lettering on gray surfaces). Can't recommend these lamps enough.

After trying to purchase this elsewhere with bad results I turned to Sweetwater. Works great. Delivery took forever. 3 day priority turned into 8 days.(USPS) but Sweetwater was great.

This lamp is a great accessory to my Mackie 24ch. 2404VLZ4 Mixer. Just plug it in to the mixer light receptacle and then turn on the mixer and then you have good light coverage over the entire mixer. Great product.

Folks, for those of you looking for Gooseneck lights, "Littlight" are the best, not only that, they are sturdy, do not move or flicker with vibration, and the LED is far better than a bulb (I heard a bulb can only last for 6 hours or more), LED lights last for ever, they don't flicker when moved, use low voltage and they are very bright. 18" seems a perfect length too.

This has a BNC connector, which is used for my Furman PLC Power conditioner rack. Its lights up the back of my EVH EL34 100W head excellently. (no more connect stuff into the wrong input).

If you think the price is high, it isn't, you get what you pay for. I expect mine to last for years!

Very convenient having the lamp plug directly into the PreSonus mixer, and the LED should last many years. I would have given a 5-star if this item had a switch. Sometimes, the light is not needed, so the unit must be detached to extinguish the light.
