A new kind of spank ’n’ sparkle
As the name suggests, these pickups use two types of magnets. The low E, A, D, and G strings utilize Alnico V magnets for a clear, strong punch. The B and high E strings use Alnico II magnets to temper overly bright frequencies. The result is a refined tone with impeccable balance and consistent volume. What's more, Dual Mag II pickups have extra turns of wire for hotter output and are calibrated from bridge to neck, and the middle pickup is reverse wound to eliminate 60-cycle hum in switch positions 2 and 4.
