Fender has developed an affordable yet durable gig bag for your Mini Strat electric guitar: the FEMS610. It features an outer layer of 600-denier polyester that shields against the grind of loading your instrument in and out among other gear. Machine sewn tight, this outer layer resists ripping and tearing and provides a layer of protection against moisture as well. Quick trips
Initially I was surprised, better quality than I expected from a padded gig bag. My normal pick would be a hard case which isn't available for the mini strat, before it arrived today I had my doubts but that changed when I discovered how well it was put together. It probably won't withstand damage from heavy weight or a drop from height but for around town its protected from bumps,dings,well padded to my surprise & light weight. It is not an over priced cheap carrying

67 years of Fender History
Bought the mini-Strat gig bag as protection for my Fender 1954 Champion Lap Steel and the lap steel's original case.
Should help keep the old case and the guitar in both playable and collectible condition for another 65 years or so.
Shout out to Ian Roegels for all the help for getting me to a spot where I feel like my progress on learning lap steel isn't in vain. The Champ Amp is also all-original and also from June 1954.

Perfect size for a 3/4 Squier guitar, padded pretty well, zipper moves easily, and a good value for the price.
perfectly adequate case for mini strat
Looking for a case for a mini strat? This is your only reasonably priced option. It does the job as well as any of the fender 610 series cases. Guitar fits well and is secure. If you are using your mini strat as a beginner guitar for a child this is good for carrying to lessons and light storage. If you are using the mini strat as an adult travel guitar this doesn't really offer much protection. Like the other 610 series cases it's more of a dust jacket and will provide light protection against minor impacts while carrying. Good for what it is.

mini start gig bag
Whoa! This is a high quality guitar case. Not some cheapo to put a child's guitar away in the closet. This case is quality built, the stitching is very rugged, the case it's self is made from heavy cordura with ample padding for me to take it on the airplane with me when I travel. Strong zippers, shoulder straps for carrying and a zipper pocket on the front for cables, picks and small accessories. I would like one like this for my standard strats. Thanks to my sales rep. JARED KALISH he's always there for me and his knowledge and customer service are impeccable.

Solid bag if a bit ordinary…
I recently got a Recording King lap steel, but I didn't have an appropriately sized gig bag to keep it in. The Fender bag is a perfect fit for the dimensions of the lap steel, and the cushioning keeps it secure and protected. My only complaint would be the aesthetic of the Fender bag. All my other bags are Mono Sleeves or Vertigo bags, and they are both aesthetically cutting edge as well as excellent at protecting instruments, so the Fender bag is just a bit plain and utilitarian for my taste. That's a small issue, though. Otherwise, I'm really happy with this bag.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these!!!(bought 2, 1 for each grandson)! As usual Sweetwater had the best price "out there". Not that I would buy from any other retailer not... But a guy's gotta check ! Another great deal AAAAA++++Thanks Ben
A Pleasant Surprise
I recently acquired a very nice custom-built cigar box guitar, but it had no case, bag or anything. On the recommendation of a friend who has a couple, I was advised that this little guy would get it done. The cigar box fits nicely and the padding, piping, zippers, etc. were all better quality than I expected. I was expecting some barely adequate carrying solution but was pleasantly surprised. The side pocket is great for the inevitable accessories (slide, strap, tuner, etc.). But I'd knock off half a star due to the sub-enclosures inside the pocket. They're turned 90 degrees from where they need to be to be useful and the zipper doesn't quite open far enough to get at them. Still this bag is perfect for a number of small guitar-ish instruments that need better than average protection and utility.
