Good Set of Strings
I always used GHS Boomers, but when I tried them on my new Fender Bass.....well I actually liked the Fender strings that came on the bass better. I've been using them ever since without any problems, They last as long as any others in their price range.
A little warmer than other nickel strings
These seem a little warmer sounding than other nickel plated strings.
The taper-wound strings might help ease of intonation on various basses. However; I didn't notice any difference on my Ibanez SR505.
Dead strings
I usually have bought ghs boomers but wanted to change things up. These strings are terrible. No bright sound, left my amp and bass set up as usual. Very disappointed.
