Works great! Feels like I have a large amount of sounds to choose quickly. Must have if you have the mustang amp.

i bought this along with the mustang lt 50 the amp comes with a faceplate for this specific amp there is a great video that covers this footswitch along with the amp i would suggest before buying

I bought this to pair up with my Mustang LT50 which came with a magnetic overlay for this foot switch.

This foot switch gives me more versatility than I imagined. I can switch patches, banks, presets, plug in/out of the onboard effects, and so much more.

With the Mustang LT50 having so many modeling amps and preset effects and extra banks to create your own effects, this pedal is perfect to allow you to switch effects and presets rather than carrying pedal board of pedals.

This product is a gift for my 16 year old grandson. He asked for this particular product. While I know nothing about the Fender Mustang III 4-button Footswitch, I do know about customer service. Sweetwater has given outstanding customer service during the purchase of this product.
I will be telling family and friends about the peace of mind I have had when buying from Sweetwater.
PS - The surprise bag of "sweet treats" put a smile on my face!

If all you are looking for is a footswitch this is a handy piece of equipment. I have a Fender LT50 amp and they pair up easily. I am not sure about the compatibility issue but if your amp will accommodate the MGT4 footswitch then get that to have the looper. The only thing that is bewildering in the extreme is that the MS4 (and the LT50 for that matter) do not come with any detailed instructions and good luck finding them on the net. I had to go back to Sweetwater and finally the tech group there to get these items which should be included as a matter of course. Sweetwater was their usual responsive self which is helpful. This glitch aside it is a handy item with 8 presets and tuner etc. Inexpensive as well so good all around.

Good solid metal construction. Bright LED display easily visible. In addition to controlling presets and effects this footswitch is effectively a digital tuner with display and frees up a space on my pedal board. This feature alone is almost worth the cost.

Ordered pedal and it quickly arrived. I had an amp problem and it didn't work properly. I believe it was my amp, not the pedal. Had to return it. Guys were helpful and quick. Was able to return the pedal quickly postage paid and got my refund. Sweetwater is my music store. Even when I had problems they were there for me. I'll be back with another order soon. Thanks guys.

This foot-switch was a great buy. I have the Fender G-DEC-3-30 Amplifier. The mustang III, 4 button foot-switch does everything it is supposed to do. There has been so many internal revisions of this foot-switch by Fender. I had to relabel the button positions. Fender use to supply face-plate overlays but, for some reason this option is no longer available. All functions still work and in a logical order. Just in different positions.

They gave me all the confidence I needed with my purchases. A sales associated named Nick called and checked on my order and was a tremendous help on other products. It felt good as if I was buying from a local small town store that really cared...

Easily modified to work with Fender GDEC30 amp, by just re-labeling some of the buttons. I used laser printer address labels that I printed in my laser printer and then cut with scissors. EASY. I love that it quickly changed to tuner mode with just the press of a button on the footswitch.

If you buy the Mustang III this is a MUST Have item. Works great and makes switching a breeze. Buy it when you buy the amp and your total purchase is still under $400. Thanks Sweetwater for the fast shipping time!

I have the mustang IV which comes with the two button footswitch so I bought the four button one and its perfect with both I use in mode three so I can turn one and off stomps, mods and delays and I use the two button one for scrolling through my presets.

I said most of it when reviewing the Mustang III. This switch combined with the 2 button that comes with the Mustang III makes it a most versatile amp.
You can access tuner, settings, banks, and add or delete effects without touching you amp.
I'm glad I bought it.

If you use a Fender Mustang 3, 4 or 5, you MUST HAVE this switch! The options you get are well worth the price. This switch should come with all three amps, but only comes with Mustang 4 and 5. You are able to program three quick access patches, choose banks and patches up or down, and lastly (most important to ME) turn gain, modulation and delay effects on or off, along with having a tuner, which shows up on the amp OR the pedal! It's like having a pedal board with all your effects in a small space! BUY THIS SWITCH! You won't regret it!

The tuner function alone is worth the money. The ability to turn effets on and off is the next big seller. If you own a GDEC 3 or the Mustang you have to own this pedal.

Built tuff , looks great and gives me way more control over my Mustang.

All in all, it's great. It took a bit for me to figure out how to program it but it does exactly what I need -- I've got three different (instant) amplifiers with immediate gain for leads and an effect stomp. I've road tested it and it works effortlessly. I guess my only criticism would be the cords -- they're not heavy duty and I can see them needing to be replaced shortly.

I bought this based on reviewer recommendations for the Mustang III amp that I bought. It opens up the versitilty of the amp. Fender quality, what more can I say.

This is a nice foot switch that works well with the acoustic 100 Fender amp. You can tune your guitar and you can set 3 combinations of effects to switch to on the fly. This is good if you want different effects for different songs. I knocked off one star as the cord plugs into the right end. IF you need the amp on the left you have to deal with the cord draping over the unit.

A must have for the Mustang lll v2
