Martin 000CJR-10E StreetMaster Acoustic-electric Guitar - Natural Reviews
If you love Martin’s StreetMaster series, then you’re going to love the 000CJR-10E StreetMaster Acoustic-electric Guitar. The 000CJR-10E StreetMaster packs all that glorious Martin sound into a smaller, more playable auditorium-style guitar. This acoustic-electric starts with an all-sapele body for consistent and balanced tone. Martin connected the hardwood neck to the body with a mortise and tenon neck joint, allowing for abundant resonance. Then, they capped the neck with a Richlite fingerboard for comfort when fretting and long-lasting durability. Then, X-bracing adds more projection and resonance plus stability to the sapele top. And when you’re out gigging, plug in through the jack to access the natural-sounding Fishman Sonitone pickup!

Great guitar for $$, best travel guitar I have
I have very nice guitars at home that I would never travel with - Custom Martin, high end Matons, Taylor, Martin standard series. I do travel a lot for work and pleasure. I travel abroad with a Klos as neck comes off and I can pack in suitcase. It has served me well but I hate sound and string spacing. When I travel in US I have used Taylor Koa+ GS mini. It is great guitar. I recently traveled with no guitar for short trip that got extended. I went to local guitar center and tried Martin OOOCJr Streetmaster guitar. I loved and bought. I have to say, as much as I like the GS mini, I like this more. The sound is beautiful and this thing is sturdy! The gig bag very minimal but I actually don't mind. Not nearly as good as Taylor but because guitar seems sturdier, I don't mind throwing in overhead. Fits better than GS mini in smaller jet overheads. Not damaged so far numerous flights and very lightweight + the tone and resonance I would say better vs. GS mini - this is personal preference. I also think easier for me to play as feels like a Martin.
Great tone, for a great price
Wonderful package deal here. The quality of wood you get, albiet Saeple, but its still solid woods. Craftmanship is just unmatched. And the main selling point for me is the size and feel. I have smaller hands and this thing is juste so nice to play on the sofa or for any occasions. The tone is warmer, and darker which was what I was looking for. If you want it a bit brighter just change out the strings, they put Monel strings and they can be a bit too dull for some. Only improvements I can say is that gig bag is really okay for quick stash at home but not for travel or pack and go. At this price, I cant complain much.
Martin
Just what I was looking for. Great guitar
Love this guitar!
This was my first Martin guitar and until I played this, I wasn't sure what the big deal about Martins was. I have a preference for warmer sounding instruments. This has that tone but also has really beautiful trebles. I was happy to find a solid wood Martin at this price point. I also love the look of it, it's incredibly comfortable to play, fast fingerstyle playing is incredibly smooth. It sounds great plugged in too. Highly recommended.
Martin 000CJR-10E StreetMaster Acoustic-electric Guitar - Natural
I have wanted a good too great quality acoustic-electric guitar for some time. I have other guitars specifically for the various styles and motifs where they fit closer to the music genre they were intended for their styles. Today's choices are so much harder with trying to decide a personal best fit for my specific creative needs. I had an old Martin, parlor style back in the 70's I had to sell to put milk, eggs, and bread on the table for the kids. Harder times for me back then. This Martin model best fits that happy memory. It sounds absolutely terrific!
1st Martin
After 47 years playing I have my 1st Martin...a great tool for songwriter performance.
Beware of economy import Martins..
Please know Martin guitars before buying from the economy line. A true USA Martin starting around $ should have a robust & projecting tone..The import versions would be a fluke if one had it.Yes, it is a heartbreaker! Be careful buying..Hear a real Martin and hear the difference. Before making a $ mistake.. How do we get a true MARTIN ? At $ and up ? I wish I knew the answer & the secret to great wealth !
