Martin 000-10E
Love my Martin 000-10E, it's a beautiful guitar that sounds excellent! Really fun to play, and it's an all wood Martin. I could not find it anywhere to play it in-person and decided to go for it from reading the reviews online. It did not disappoint!!
Thank you Sweetwater for an Outstanding shopping experience, super quick free shipping and the guitar was securely packaged.
Thanks to my Sales Engineer Devin Sonnier!! Devin provided excellent service, he sent me photos of the guitar right before it shipped.
Thanks again Sweetwater!

Fine sounding Martin guitar
I was thinking of buying a 000-15sm, but it was a bit out of my price range, but to me this is the next best thing. It is solid wood top, back and sides, sapele instead of mahogany but I doubt if anyone could hear a difference. The sound is so sweet, warm and mellow with lots of sustain. the clear bell like tones really ring out. It is perfect. it sounds at least as good as the Larrivee OM I had but at half the cost. I couldn't be happier, and my sales engineer Johnathan Pass was great to work with, I give him 5 stars as well.
Sweet soft and warm
Once I received this guitar it was not playable, it sounded horrible, the nut was wrong. After 2 weeks of trying to play it I gave up.
Not Sweetwater's fault, but shame on Martin, I own 7 Martin guitars some expensive and some cheaper like this one.
So I took it to the only authorized Martin service center in this state and left it.
I have dealt with these guys before many times and they are great, but stay very busy.
After almost 7 weeks, and a new bone nut and fret ends smoothed out and a set up,I really love this guitar.
It has a very sweet soft warm sound that just makes you smile.
I believe most of the problems were with the nut and should never have passed any 55 point inspection.
If you buy this guitar, which I highly recommend, plan on spending some money to make it right.
I feel so honored to have joined the Martin family.
For as long as I can remember I had always wanted a martin guitar. I had the opportunity to buy one in 2013 but I went with a fender hellcat acoustic instead, It was definitely more economic for me but I also feel that I was not ready for a martin yet. Fast forward to this year, My fender is getting worn out on me and I decide it's time for an upgrade, I go down to seven c music to try out some guitars and the one that catches my eye is the Martin triple 000-10e. When I made my decision to buy it, I couldn't be happier. For my first ever martin it has definitely proved to be more than I expected.
Martin 000 10e
Just opened this beauty today 3/01 and was great out of the box.
Well, this is my second Martin. My other is a Road series as well, the D10e Natural Sapele.
I love the shorter scale length with the nut being 1 3/4. Low action out of the box and just fun to play.
While not as loud as the Dreadnaught it just sounds great with the all solid body. In my opinion the Road series are the best value and Great guitars for the money. Also the case is a bonus.
Mt first Martin
I always wanted a Martin guitar but was always turned away because of the price. I must say, the price is worth it. Even though this is made in Mexico it still feels, sounds, and plays like the Martins I have picked up and played. I have grown to love the smaller body styles in acoustic guitars and this will sit in my collection quite nicely. If you want a Martin but do not want to fork over a lot of money (even though it is worth it), this is the perfect Martin just for that. I love the all sapele body and it is all solid, which is also a first for me with an acoustic guitar. I am a sucker for dark woods on an acoustic so this was an easy decision to make. Also thanks to my sales rep Chris Nunley who ALWAYS makes sure I get what I need. Sweetwater is the best and I will continue to do business with them.
Love it
Played my friends a 000-10M and loved it!! Just didn't want to drop $ on one! This Mexican cousin was the next best thing and I feel I couldn't of made a better choice! Classic Martin sound, I couldn't be happier!
I Can’t Stop Playing It
Slapped new strings on it and took it straight to a show. Very easy to play, with balanced tone. Surprisingly good projection considering the size. Love it!!
Martin sound at a great price
IMO the best bang for the buck. Great size guitar, that is not too big and not too small. Sounds amazing and looks fantastic in sapele. Tuner works great as well as the electronics but for me I get the Martin sound and great playability in a guitar under $800! Highly recommended.
Awesome Guitar
Plays, looks, and sounds great.
Incredible Value, Incredible Performance!!
I've owned this guitar for more than a year now and am even more happy with my purchase than on the first week of owning. For the money, value and performance this is a GREAT OPTION! Love the tone, the size is easy to hold and the onboard electronics sound really great. The most innovative design is the hidden tuner inside the sound hole. Every guitar player that has seen me play this in person has commented how they wish they had such a functional, yet discrete built in tuner. It really is a brilliant design. When I add a reverb pedal to help shape my tone/effects this thing absolutely SINGS!
BONUS: If this guitar gets a scratch, blemish, or happens to tip over/fall off the stand....I'm not loosing my mind because I didn't pay thousands. It just sounds like I spent a lot of money when I play. This instrument is quality! That's why I love it so much. I'd purchase this exact same guitar without hesitation.
Awesome
This guitar plays and sounds how it looks. The guitar looks way better in person. This Martin guitar is a well crafted instrument.Even though this guitar came with high action, all I needed to do was to adjust the truss rod a bit clockwise, and it was ready to go. I will definitely be buying more Martin instruments from sweetwater in the future.
Marvelous Martin 000 10E Road Series
I believe this guitar is an outstanding bargain at Sweetwaters price! Great look, great sound and plays like a dream! Totally happy with this purchase. Well, back to the song writing!
Incredible
What a beautiful guitar. I was looking for a smaller bodied acoustic that didn't cost a ton. I took a chance on not being able to play this specific model before buying but the risk was definitely worth the reward. Mike got it out to me super quick. Love ordering from sweetwater. The guitar was set up perfectly out of the box. It sounds and feels great to play. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!
Beautiful guitar and what a bargain.
Bought one week ago. Very comfortable for me and sounds great. It has a richness to it that I didn’t find in other brands with similar body shapes. My first Martin and it shattered expectations. Thanks to Joel and Sweetwater sales team. Ty.
Great Guitar!
Im giving this guitar a 5 star! I got it for my B-day and it plays great, i'm in love with the sound and comfortable it is!
Also is the first time my partner and I get something from Sweetwater, i have to say the customer service is outstanding!! :) Jesse was the one who took care of us, gave us a great deal, had the time to explain everything we need to know and to give me more options from his point of view. I really appreciated all of that Jesse!!!. We also just ordered another guitar for my daughter for Christmas And he was really helpful as well.
Never going back to GC again!
Love this guitar!
I wanted to buy a Martin guitar and after a lot of research I decided on this one due to it's price point for an aces solid wood beauty. It sounds great, looks great, and even smells great! I enjoy it for fingerstyle play as well as light to moderate strumming. This is my first Martin and probably won't be my last.
When Brand Name Quality Meets Value
So for weeks I was searching for a new acoustic sub-$1500 for acoustic gigs with a reliable sound and playability. I took the change on the 000-10e without playing it in person and was very glad I did. Immediately out the box the guitar was playing perfectly. The guitar subtly responds to any attack on the strings, from loud picking, to finger picking. The sound is unique but familiar (if that makes sense). We all have this sound in our head of what we want our acoustic to sound like, even if we do not know how to explain it. And Martin knocked this out of the park for the price! The built in tuner is super helpful and pickups sound great going right into the mixer/PA. Extremely happy with my purchase!
Awesome Guitar!!
I bought this guitar kind of worried because although I had played the previous model in person, I had never played this updated version in person. But I am blown away by how great it sounds and how easy it plays! The price is great too!
Sounds great acoustically and plugged in & it can take a hit.
This guitar is my go to. I wanted a mid-size guitar that sounded full. I have a FGX3 that sounded great, but is not as comfortable, So I wanted an alternative. It's not loud, but it does have the Martin profile. It also more woody and natural sounding. It does not project like the 000-15. It also doesn't cost as much. For me... I don't want a solid wood guitar that is thin and feels thin to the point of me being concerned about how I handle it. I know that thin is all the rave now, but not for me. I want something that can be played and enjoyed.... Not lightly used and babied. Sapele is tough wood and it opens up nicely over time. The richlite fingerboard concerned me at first, but now I am thankful for it. Richlite is super smooth & playable and it doesn't need the maintenance of ebony.
I find that for finger picking it has good dynamics, with that classic noticeable single note E string and A string Martin Magic. It gives me a different response when I strum lightly and when I strum heavy (Which I love) it compresses my heavy strums so that I don't ever have to worry about strumming too heavy. I am happy with the plug in system. I think that Taylor's is better and so is Yamaha's atmosfeel, but this one is very good and I have found my sweet spot with the tone knob. I love the gig bag. If you want a guitar you can grow with, write songs to, and not be too concerned about it being roughed up... This one is a winner. This one tells a story.
Also, something about the Martin Strings on this one that has won me over! .054 > .053.
Excellent.
Just an excellent instrument. Fun to play. Comfy neck, unobtrusive body, bright and rounded tone... Fishmans don't sound half bad when processed too. I love it.
I Love This Guitar.
I've had mine awhile and I'm not kidding, I Love This Guitar! Great picking guitar giving way to great creativity. As soon as I got it I wrote 4 songs. Good ones I think. Time will tell. The playability is marvelous along with the sapele sound. It just keeps getting better.
Very Good but You Get What You Pay For
The tone on this guitar is amazing for the price. The reason for four stars is that the nut was not cut well, in other words, out doesn't look like anyone checked the string height at the first fret. Typically, I look at somewhere between .020" and .022". This was over.030" so we had to fix that. Even then, the string height at the body joint on the low E was 8/64" and fell off to 5/64" at the high E. So it appears that at the factory someone put a nut and saddle straight from the parts bin onto this guitar. Finally, no one finished the fret ends. Since Richlite is a resin compound made to look like wood, it won't shrink or contract. We fixed that too. So if you buy this guitar, expect to spend a couple of bucks to do a proper setup on it. That said, once these problems were corrected, this guitar plays exceptionally well. The sound is amazing. Shame on Martin's QC.
Big bang for the buck
All my past acoustics have been dreadnought sized sitka spruce topped instruments. Very loud and bright sounding. I wanted a small bodied, warmer, mellower guitar without taking a second mortgage out. This one fills the bill. The built in tuner is nice, and the controls are easily accessible, as is the battery compartment. Action was spot on (for me) and the finish flawless. It's made at the Martin plant in Mexico, but it's still Martin quality. And Sweetwater service (as usual) was outstanding.
Neck needs constant adjustment.
It may be just my particular instrument, but the action goes from high to buzzing and vice versa often. Truss rod adjustments have not helped.
