Born and raised in Mexico, "Chamuco" was exposed to a wide variety of music genres from a young age. He started playing drums in jazz band at the age of 13, and out of necessity for writing original music, he taught himself guitar and bass at the age of 20. The eclectic taste couldn't be more apparent than when watching his videos on his various social media platforms under the handle @chamucomusico. In which he combines metal, djent and other rock adjacent genres with reggaeton, rnb, hip-hop, cumbia, merengue etc He composes original riffs over these and also is the primary and sole song writer for his band Hyacinth.
