Sean DeLeon
Sean DeLeon
My life has been dedicated to music. I love to mix, record, write, and play. My first instrument was piano at the age of 5, and shortly after, I picked up the guitar. Ever since, I have been obsessed with becoming a better player and learning how to use gear to make recordings.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering Technology and was lucky enough to be able to train at Ocean Way Studios, Quonset Hut, and Columbia Studio A. After college, I worked at the Toy Box Studio and Velvet Cinema Studio in Nashville, TN. My goal was to dedicate all my energy to help artists turn their artistic vision into a reality, no matter what it took. My goal now is to help musicians and artists find the gear that is right for them.
I am excited to share all of my knowledge with you so that we can find the best solution for your setup!
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

Gear you own:
At this point it's a bit out of hand! I have a handful of guitars including a Martin Acoustic, Fender 1959 Reissue Strat, Fender Ultra-Luxe Strat, Fender P-Bass, PRS Silver Sky Signature, Player Plus Tele, Gibson Les Paul Modern, and that wild Dean Dimebag "Dean From Hell" (which was my first guitar when I was really young). I play through a Fender Supersonic Head with either a Supersonic Cab or Hot Rod Deluxe Cab. I recently picked up a modified 1967 Sears Silvertone 1482 Amp which sounds awesome when recording. I use a Universal Audio Apollo x8p and Twin X Quad to record into Logic or Pro Tools. From my mic locker, I love using the AKG C414, Miktek CV3, and Shure SM7B. I also have a bunch of plug-ins from Universal Audio, FabFilter, Sound Toys, Waves, Slate Digital, iZotope, Goodhertz, and more. I'm more than happy to share my experience using this gear with you!

Guilty pleasure of choice:
If there was one thing I could eat every day for the rest of my life without consequence, it would be fully loaded homemade tacos. Carne guisada, rice, beans, cheese, more cheese, avocado, and salsa. Wins every time.

I've been extremely lucky to work with Milky Chance, Glass Animals, Van Hunt, and Michael Kiwanuka.
