Mike Bell
My journey in music and pro audio began 27 years ago after discovering the world of DJing. After visiting the annual DJ Expo held in my hometown, Atlantic City, NJ, I became inspired to get a pair of Technics 1200 turntables and a Gemini 2-channel mixer. After spending years developing my turntablism and DJ skills, I became interested in beat production. Some of my first beat making tools were the Akai MPC 2000XL and the Ensoniq ASR-10 (which I still own 20 years later!). In 2015, after a visit to Grammy-award winning music producer !llmind’s recording studio, my interest shifted to mixing, editing and recording. This led me to pursuing an education (formal and autodidactic) in audio production. I am a graduate of Full Sail University’s Audio Production Bachelor of Science program. I will help the greatest customers on the planet by providing my practical experience and technical knowledge on everything music & pro audio!
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

What do you enjoy most about being part of the Sweetwater team?
I feel like I'm part of a family here at Sweetwater. Before I can engage with customers, I had to complete a rigorous training program that prepares us for the Sales Engineer job. Over the course of 13 weeks, I bonded with my classmates and feel like we’re more than work colleagues. This may have been the only place where this happened but things like this makes Sweetwater a unique place.
