Luis Hernandez
Luis Hernandez
I'm originally from Miami, Florida and started playing music nearly 3 decades ago. I started out playing piano and then discovered rock n roll and it took over my life. I was immediately engulfed in the world of drums and guitar and was basically obsessed.
Throughout grade school I was involved in choir and musical theatre and started my first band when I was 12 years old. I attended Musicians Institute for production and artist development and graduated in 2015.
I've played and recorded with various bands all over the country and I'm an avid gear collector. I love exploring all sorts of new stuff from synthesizers to guitar pedals and everything in between. One of my favorite things to do is help music makers, make music. There is no better feeling than getting someone their first guitar or their 50th. It's always such a fun experience guiding and helping musicians to that next thing that we always need. I still write and record my own music and experiment with all sorts of gear to stay up to date with what's going on in the business.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.
