Josh Wright
Josh Wright
I’ve been a musician for over 30 years, and music has shaped nearly every chapter of my life. I hold a bachelor’s degree with concentrations in music, ministry, and biblical studies, which laid the foundation for more than 15 years serving as a worship coordinator. In that role, I led teams, built setlists, and helped create meaningful worship experiences that connected faith and music.
Over the years, I’ve owned hundreds of guitars—each with its own story—and I play electric guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, and cello. I especially enjoy playing upright bass in local jazz groups, where improvisation and groove bring musicians together in a unique conversation.
I grew up in Fort Wayne and spent 15 years in San Antonio, TX, both of which shaped my musical voice and love for community. I’ve been married to my wife for 20 years, and we’re raising four incredible kids. When I’m not making music, I enjoy driving my 1955 Buick and slow-smoking meat on the grill.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.
