I started with music when I was 7 years old taking piano lessons with my mother. I later began playing bassoon which I played through college, picking up saxophone and bass guitar along the way.
I earned a degree in Commercial Music from The Florida State University with a focus in Audio Engineering. During my time at FSU I was a Recording/Sound Engineer for the College of Music and other concerts/events in the Tallahassee area. I also played with a few of the university orchestras and bands.
Currently I play bass guitar, make beats with synths/keyboards/drum machines for fun, and occasional freelance mixing/mastering.

Where are you from originally?
I lived in Clearwater, Florida for most of my life. Born in Phoenix, Arizona.

What was your occupation before coming to Sweetwater?
Recording/sound engineer at the FSU College of Music. I also worked at a music store.

Why did you first apply for a job at Sweetwater?
My mission in life is to spread music. Being a Sales Engineer at Sweetwater is a great way to do that.

I have been picking Jon Casarow’s brain (and, subsequently purchasing LOTS of GREAT stuff from Sweetwater!) for about 6 years.
