Jesse Duquette
Jesse Duquette
From a young age I was interested in music, and my family was always bringing home any instrument they came across. I started out playing piano, but what I really wanted to play was guitar. I was excited the day I came home from school and walked in to a black Squier Stratocaster surprise. Being from a big family where everyone played an instrument at one point or another, my first response was "whose guitar is that". When the reply was "It's yours kid", That's where my musical journey really began. 20 years later I am still continuing my passion with guitar, drums, and vocals.
I love tinkering and understanding how things work, and have a big interest in electronics as well as gear. Over the years I learned how to repair my own gear and my interest in music only grew when things would malfunction. This would lead me to learn to repair what I had, from soldering broken circuit boards when my amp blew up to simply learning to set up my guitar. I would constantly dive into the history of each item and what makes each manufacturer unique, leading to customization of my own gear and really finding my own sound.
While I was fortunate enough to grow up in a fourth generation family business where I spent most of my time, I spent 4 years in a retail music store out of Massachusetts where I enjoyed helping customers on their own journey of making art. I take pride in making sure my clients have the gear they need to paint their own unique canvas while still maintaining integrity and value. I'm confident I will be able to help you on your own journey as well!
