Hi, my name is Dave Snow, and I’m originally from Northwest Indiana. I acquired my first MIDI keyboard at the age of 13, and I have kept current with music technology ever since. While other kids were reading comic books and novels, I was reading gear instruction manuals and troubleshooting FAQs.
It is a privilege to have the opportunity to translate my passion for gear into a career here at Sweetwater. I’ve been playing guitar, bass, and keyboards for over 20 years, and I also enjoy writing, recording, and engineering original music in my own studio. I have a great deal of enthusiasm for helping customers from all corners of the audio world. Whether your needs are recording, live sound, guitar, keyboards, or anything in between, I am truly excited to share my knowledge.

Education/Certifications:
I studied psychology at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne and Purdue–Calumet. I’m A+ certified for computer hardware, and I graduated from Sweetwater University.

Why did you first apply for a job at Sweetwater?
I chose to apply at Sweetwater because I wanted to combine my passion for music gear with my enthusiasm for working closely with customers.

I love the keybed on my Nektar Panorama P4. My go-to guitar at the moment is my 1999 Washburn Washington J9 semi-hollowbody.

I’m also a visual artist and graphic designer. I play a mean game of pinball.

Carolina-style BBQ, comedy podcasts, roller coasters

What did you dream about doing for a living when you were growing up?
When I was a kid, I always wanted to be a stand-up comedian like Fozzie Bear.

What in your background prepared you most to help your customers with their audio needs?
Sweetwater University. Most employers simply set you in front of a computer for training, but Sweetwater University employs professional instructors and provides hands-on experience for real-life situations.

What are some of the artists you enjoy listening to?
The Smiths, Built to Spill, Belle and Sebastian, Pavement, The Polyphonic Spree, Pixies, and Los Campesinos!

Customer service is second to no one. Website is awesome which is huge for ordering online and finding what you're looking for. Dave Snow, my sales engineer is always awesome and gets right back if I leave a message. I truly don't consider buying from anyone else I go straight to Sweetwater every time.

Had the pleasure of speaking with Dave Snow, first time dealing with Sweetwater. I was looking for a Taylor 224CEK DLX and they had 4 to choose from .
