Interview with Dan...
-
Dan was absolutely inspiring working with our clarinet students. He truly knows how to engage the students and every student left feeling energized - and more importantly - left sounding MUCH better than at the start of the class. Dan is a professional performer and educator, and I would LOVE to have him come out again in the future. He has opened the door for us to use Sweetwater for our future needs as well. A++++

Dan has been great. He's been so helpful in showing my students how to use their instruments correctly. He has also been awesome and available at coming in to workshop with my students.

Dan was personable with the students. He played interested and relevant music for the students and kept them engaged. We have many students interested in visiting Sweetwater. Hopefully we can make a school field trip work. Thanks Dan!

He came to visit my school for the first time yesterday and did an amazing job. He demonstrated everything I wanted the students to see in a professional musician. The pieces he performed were very enjoyable and engaging for a younger audience, and he answered all of their questions (even the off-topic ones) very well. He is great at building positive relationships with students of many different ages and always looks for ways to help make my job easier. I'm very glad Dan reached out and came to my school, it was a very positive experience for both me and the students.

Dan was incredible to work with! Getting to have him out was a treat for me and my students. He knew how to engage with them, performed a nice variety of music, and then ran an awesome clarinet sectional. It was impactful to have him and I hope to make it a regular event each year! Thanks for sending him.
