Ever since my dad taught me my first song on his old Yamaha acoustic guitar, I was hooked. From then on, I never stopped playing. While I started playing mostly classic rock on guitar, my passion for music expanded to all genres and instruments.
Throughout my musical journey, I’ve dabbled in almost any instrument you can name. In that time, I realized that my specialty is stringed instruments. I’ve been playing guitar now for over 12 years and cello for about 6 years. My passions for music and learning have worked together to drive me to discover as much as I can about anything involving music.
Almost all the work I’ve done has been in music retail, which has given me the opportunity to work with and learn from some amazing musicians ranging all the way from touring drummers and doctors of the musical arts to somebody picking up an instrument for the first time. I would love to help you achieve your musical dreams.

Why did you first apply for a job at Sweetwater?
I’ve always worked in music retail because I love to help musicians with their gear, and Sweetwater is the place that does that best.

Outside of my musical interests, I enjoy the outdoors, especially activities like backpacking, backcountry camping, climbing, and wildlife photography.

How would your best friend describe you?
My best friend would describe me as being free-spirited and being an old soul.

What did you dream about doing for a living when you were growing up?
When I was young, I wanted to be a vocalist. Then I realized I was a terrible singer, so I learned guitar instead.

What in your background prepared you most to help your customers with their audio needs?
Over a decade of playing music and spending the majority of my working life in music retail have given me the opportunity to work with and learn from great musicians of all different backgrounds, resulting in a broad knowledge of many different fields.
