Alauna Rubin
Alauna Rubin
I've always known I wanted to be a part of the music industry. I started playing clarinet when I was six and got my first gig as a live sound engineer when I was sixteen. While I was finishing my degree in Audio Recording Technology from Houston Community College, I started working at the legendary Sugar Hill Recording studios where I continued to work for 5 years. I now have over a decade of experience in the live sound/production industry after transitioning out of the studio world and I've been able to work as a live sound engineer, a lighting tech, projectionist, sound designer for theater, and even managed a venue through a non-profit for a few years. When I'm not at work, I play Clarinet/EWI in a nationally touring chamber rock band and try not to binge too much Love Island.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.
