Reflections Way Down!
I purchased Auralex foam wedgies because the reverb in my home VO studio was purty bad, even with some cheapo acoustic foam. After installing the foam (I used Tpins btw - awesome toxic-free technique courtesy of YouTube!), my VO mentor told me "your reflections have gone right down and the sound is now much better overall" - !! Grateful I spent the money even though it hurt lol. Gotta give a little to get a little...

Satisfied! Got what I paid for
I ordered 2 packaged of these panels for a total of 48 of them. The factory cuts if each piece were precise and clean, exactly 1 X 1. The foam itself were not squashed. They feel sturdy and firm.

Because I wanted to have the flexibility to move them any time I want, I decided to use 3M Command Strips to stick them to the wall and door, 4 strips on each panel. The result was really good. None of them is coming off, and I was able to relocate a few pieces without causing any damage to the wall.

Patrick Weaver took good care of me. He is great to work with as a Worship Pastor and a musician. I'm very happy with what I got.

The only suggestion that I would add is that I wish Auralex would sell these individually. I would have ordered another 6-8 panels, but not another 24.

Great Service & Quality
Since I have been purchasing my equipment from Sweetwater, there is nothing that I am lacking in. I've search many places for many items but, I found out that everything I needed was right at Sweetwater. Their staff not only provides great customer service but makes sure you have the right products to meet the needs. They take time to work with you and walk you through the use of the equipment you purchase and helps you fully understand how it all works. I've shopped at the other music stores before but moving forward I won't waste my time. Sweetwater has everything I need. Thanks Kalib and all the great staff at Sweetwater Music. You guys are stuck with me because I stuck on you.

Worked great
I wanted to reduce echo in my home studio. This worked perfectly. I used T Pins to put them up easily. Happy!
A No-Lose Scenario
I bought a set of these back in 2016. At the time, I was facing a vicious ring echo in my workspace, pegged right at about 3.15KhZ. No amount of EQ or other plug-in Trickery would deal with it, and I got to the point where I detested my own voice. (I suspect that more than one of you have been in this spot.)

I have VERY good equipment, mics, and DAW Host (thanks to Sweetwater and my SE Delvin Wolf!), and my technique is good. But I just couldn't peg the vocal tone I was after. Almost in desperation, not believing they'd do anything worthwhile, I bought this set, and spent an afternoon mounting them on the walls.

At the time, I didn't pay much attention to them. It wasn't until 2024, just now, that I realize I'd never written a review of them. But back in 2016, and ever since, I realized that it takes me far, far less than half the time I used to spend mixing. My vocals, while not perfect, dropped immediately "into the ballpark", where EQ and my own brand of trickery and homebrew devices made the ring and resonance so forgettable... I **forgot** about it.

The improvement in my space (about the size of a Volkswagen Bug interior) was so significant, I decided to take-on Mastering... I've Mixed and Mastered 7 album length Projects (myself and other people) since then, and have never gotten a single negative comment, even when I've pressed those I know to "be 145 honest!".

I conclude that the Auralex's work, and work well. Sure, they're not flashy, and don't have LED's winking at you, but they do their job, and do it well. I'm in the middle of another re-wiring upgrade, and will probably buy another set of these. I've gotten to like the "dead sound", which frees me up to add ambience where, how, and as I want it. For their going-price, they cannot be beat!
